Abstract

　例えばガラス素材による透明な基板１と、この基板上に形成された第１電極層（ＩＴＯ等による透明電極）２と、前記第１電極層上に形成された有機材料を含む発光機能層５と、前記発光機能層上に形成された第２電極層としての例えば金属素材による背面電極６と、前記第１電極層上２に配置されたドット状導電体３とが具備される。 　前記ドット状導電体３は、ドット状導電体同士が分離された状態で１つの前記第１電極層２に対して複数のドット状導電体がそれぞれ配置される。 　電気抵抗率が低い素材によるドット状導電体３が前記第１電極層２に配置される事により、前記透明電極２と複数のドット状導電体の合成抵抗値が、透明電極２のみの場合の抵抗値に比べて低くなるため、透明電極２において発生する電圧降下を効果的に抑制させる事ができる。
