Abstract

A pin (51) fixed to a predetermined position of an upper rail (50) is inserted through a long hole (53c) of a guide (53). Support mechanisms (54) are mounted on the guide (53). The support mechanisms (54) roll together with the guide (53) along respective rolling surfaces (60a, 50c) of a lower rail (60) and the upper rail (50). A stopper (61) for determining the initial positions of the upper rail (50), the lower rail (60), and the support mechanisms (54) is formed on the rolling surface (60a) of the lower rail (60). The stopper (61) is provided at a position away from a normal movement range of a movable step (4).
