Abstract

 磁気式エンコーダ(10)の多極マグネット(21)を備えた多極側磁気検出部(11)では、90°の位相差の正弦波信号を出力する第1、第2磁気検出素子(A1、B1)と、第3、第4磁気検出素子(A2、B2)とが、機械角で180°離れた角度位置に配置されている。第1、第3磁気検出素子(A1、A2)は電気角で同一位置に配置され、同相の正弦波信号を出力し、第2、第4磁気検出素子(B1、B2)は電気角で同一位置に配置され、同相の正弦波信号を出力する。第1、3磁気検出素子(A1、A2)の出力信号の和信号を取り、第2、4磁気検出素子(B1、B2)の出力信号の和信号を取ることにより、2極マグネット(22)からの磁束に起因する第1~第4磁気検出素子(A1~B2)の検出信号の誤差成分、多極マグネット(21)の回転振れに起因する検出信号の誤差成分を除去あるいは大幅に抑制でき、回転角度を精度良く検出できる。
