Abstract

　車両に固定自在であると共に、マイクロコンピュータを少なくとも有するクレイドルユニット（１２）と、クレイドルユニットに着脱自在であると共に、地図データを表示するディスプレイ（１４ｂ）と地図データ上に測位された車両の位置を表示させるナビゲーション機能を奏するマイクロコンピュータを少なくとも有するフロントパネルユニット（１４）とを備えたナビゲーション装置であって、クレイドルユニットの下端部にパネル（３２ｂ）を一体的に形成して車両に取り付け自在とする如く構成した。これにより、ナビゲーション機能を奏するマイクロコンピュータを有する部分を本体であるベースユニット（１０）から着脱可能に構成して使い勝手の良さを上げると共に、車両（Ｂ）のダッシュボード（Ｄ）に容易に取り付けることができると共に、外観上も違和感を生じさせないようにしたナビゲーション装置を提供することができる。
