Abstract

 結晶性が高く光の透過性が高い薄片状酸化チタン粒子を有機溶媒に配合した有機分散体を提供する。前記分散体は、有機カチオンを含有した薄片状酸化チタン粒子の水性分散体を予め調製し、これを遠心分離して得られた沈降物を有機溶媒に添加する方法、または、前記水性分散体を凍結乾燥し、得られた凍結乾燥物を有機溶媒に混合する方法により調製することができる。本発明の有機分散体を用いると、分散体を基材にコートし、乾燥させるという簡便な方法で酸化チタンナノシートが単層で稠密に配列した膜を形成することができ、かかる膜は光触媒能を有し、超親水性作用を有するものである。
