Abstract

A measurement device capable of simply and quantitatively introducing a sample into a measurement chamber without flooding it, and a measurement instrument, a measurement method, and a sampling method that use the measurement device. The measurement device (1) has a first sample receiving chamber (11) having a sample introduction opening (13a) and receiving a sample introduced from the sample introduction opening; a second sample receiving chamber (12) having a gas discharge opening (19) and receiving the sample discharged from the gas discharge opening and discharged from the first sample receiving chamber communicating with the second sample receiving chamber (12); a gas-liquid separation film (9) for covering the gas discharge opening of the second sample receiving chamber and separating the sample received in the second sample receiving chamber, the separation of the sample being performed in such a way that the sample is not discharged from the gas discharge opening; and a pressurizing mechanism for pressurizing, from the sample side, the liquid surface of the sample received in the second sample receiving chamber.
