In order to adapt the implant to the morphology of each individual, three basic types of different dimensions and thicknesses are designed but always respecting a parallelepiped shape.
- a rigid piece (2) characterized in that it is formed by means of a connecting piece with the ball (8) has been inserted and serves as protection against inadvertent overflow. It fulfills the role of the posterior vertebral ligament usually excised during the surgical procedure or most often deteriorated under certain conditions.
- This piece (2) also ideally made of a hard biocompatible material, has a radius of curvature similar to the concavity of this concave posterior end (9). It is recalled that the ball and the rigid concave part can be made in one piece or in two parts which are then combined to form a rigid assembly.
- the ball (8) or central core equivalent to the normal nucleus will ideally be placed in the first third of the concave part (9) in order to be the central axis through which the forces of pressure, rotation, support, movements and thus to homogenize and distribute these forces internally and radially within the implant. Without it, these forces would exert an anarchic effect on the entire prosthesis and promote its deterioration. Its presence will therefore prevent internal deformations and then the disintegrations of the elastomer.
- This ball (8) of perfect rotundity is made of a hard biocompatible material capable of withstanding the high and permanent pressures that will be exerted on it.
- the outer periphery (4) of the piece (1) is surrounded by a fabric strip characterized in that it is perforated. Ideally made of polyester, it is applied to this periphery at the end of the polymerization of the polymer so that it is perfectly adherent to the material constituting the implant, or even that material then still in pasty phase literally includes this fabric by the overflows of material during polymerization which will flow through the meshes.
- the entire workpiece is treated with an ion implantation that improves its surface characteristics.

- a deposition of osteoconductive or osteoinductive product is applied, such as, for example, hydroxyapatite or any other similar product which is an osteogenesis vector.
- hydroxyapatite the latter, like all products in the form of powder or grains, is also included either before the end of the polymerization or with the aid of a bonding agent but in a partial manner. . In both cases, this gives a solid fixation of this powder or grains but allows the neighboring tissues to be in direct contact with these osteoconductive or osteoinductive agents which generate a good integration of the implant.
- a fixing plate (6) with holes (7) ( Figure 1) for putting screws which will secure this attachment plate to the upper vertebra and to the lower vertebra of the implantation site.
- This plate (6) attached to the implant is made of the same material as the implant. It is reinforced internally by a fabric band ideally openwork polyester. This type of fabric adds to the flexibility of the polymer, an excellent strength that joins the natural elasticity of this product, allows it to be solicited without deformation by the different movements of the spine.
- the number of holes is not limiting since it is possible to increase the number. Similarly, the surgeon can keep only one on each side by making a cut of said fixing plate.
