Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un appareil à coussin gonflable de sécurité monté dans un siège, qui se déploie depuis un coussin latéral d'un siège afin de protéger un côté latéral d'un passager et pousse un rembourrage de mousse latéral vers le passager afin d'entourer le côté latéral du passager avec le rembourrage de mousse latéral, ce qui permet d'améliorer les performances de sécurité. L'appareil à coussin gonflable de sécurité latéral monté dans un siège comprend un dispositif de gonflage installé dans une armature de siège située dans une section de réception d'un rembourrage de mousse formée sur un côté latéral d'un siège de véhicule et un coussin relié au dispositif de gonflage. Lorsque le coussin se dilate, le rembourrage de mousse se sépare en un rembourrage intérieur et en un rembourrage extérieur et le rembourrage intérieur pousse le passager de sorte que le passager soit éloigné d'un point d'impact.
