  • Safety seals comprise an elongated and flexible strip that closes as a loop on itself, having one of its ends inside a housing formed at the other end thereof. Once the end of the strip is disposed inside the housing, said end cannot be removed from said housing, thanks to a locking mechanism that allows the end to be introduced into the housing but prevents its subsequent removal in the opposite direction.
  • a known embodiment of said locking mechanism consists of a pair of elastic arms arranged in the form of a fork at one end of the strip of the seal and designed to be coupled inside a cavity of a body disposed at the other end of the strip. Said elastic arms are normally in the form of an arrow and snap together to corresponding interior walls of the cavity.

  • Said weakening zones 16 consist of rectangular openings that cross the strip 2 and allow the seal 1 to be broken manually if necessary.
  • the strip 2 comprises a rough grip area 17 located close to the fixing element 5.
  • said grip zone 17 comprises a plurality of curved relief elements present on the surface of both sides of the strip 2. The grip zone 17 allows the user to hold the strip 2 with the fingers effectively and facilitate the introduction of the fixing element 5 into the cavity 8 of the housing 4 to close the seal 1.
  • the seal 1 will be made of materials with adequate flexibility and strength that allow obtaining the described characteristics, such as polypropylene.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un sceau de sécurité qui comprend une bande flexible (2) avec un premier élément (4) de fixation et un deuxième élément (5) de fixation, le deuxième élément (5) de fixation comprenant au moins deux bras (6) élastiques et chaque bras (6) élastique comprenant une partie (7, 7b) de contact pouvant être couplée par pression dans une cavité intérieure (8) du premier élément (4) de fixation. Les bras (6) comprennent deux positions : une première position, dans laquelle les parties (7, 7b) de contact respectives de chaque bras (6) sont écartées l'une par rapport à l'autre lors de leur introduction dans la cavité (8), et une deuxième position, dans laquelle les parties (7, 7b) de contact sont rapprochées l'une par rapport à l'autre et dans laquelle chaque partie (7, 7b) de contact interagit avec une surface (13) correspondante de la cavité (8) pour fermer le sceau de sécurité (1).
