Abstract

The present invention relates to a training system (1) for practicing and developing the skills of a player practicing at least one type of sport with a training object (6) such as, for example, a ball or the like. The present invention relates to the field of training systems adapted for performance development of players in ball sports or the like, and in particular including visual display means of training references.

Prior art

Several prior art solutions are known for training systems of the type of the present invention.

WO 99/07447 discloses a training system of the type described above, in particular with embodiments of only one training surface next to a training field and a plurality of training surfaces arranged to surround a respective one. training camp.

WO 02/41954 A1 discloses a training system for training the reflexes of soccer players and which features a panel provided with a plurality of matrix-shaped and guadradic zones can be illuminated independently. Said illuminable zones may be smaller in size in order to increase the difficulty of training accordingly. The document does not disclose the size of the illuminable zones, namely sufficiently small to provide a pixel-like arrangement so as to represent different types of targets and other references on a training surface. WO 2010/063270 A1 discloses a training system having similar visual display arrangements comprising a plurality of quadratic shaped targets configured as open ball receptors and substantially larger than that of a training ball such that it can be introduced through those, and individually designated by illumination of the respective frame and arranged in four alignments that confine a training ground. This solution does not provide for the display of different types of training references, including target type, and irregularly varying size and position. EP 1926535 BI discloses a training system featuring a target projector rearwardly adapted to project targets onto a targeting surface provided in the form of a curtain wall comprising a plurality of vertical strips of material. relatively wide and relatively close. None of the prior art documents disclose a training system that provides the presentation of training references, e.g. targets to be hit and obstacles to avoid, based on a mesh-type visual representation arrangement and distinguished by having a mesh that on the one hand is enough tight to display different sized references, movable references, and pixel-like image representations, and on the other hand is wide enough to allow outside training to be observed to provide training tracking by coaches and bystanders.

General Description of the Invention

A first object of the present invention is to provide a training system featuring presentation means that provide different types of training references, including targets and obstacles of different shapes and colors, and moving training targets on a respective training surface. over a certain period of time, in optimal visual presentation conditions and allowing substantial insight through them by outsiders.

This objective is solved according to claim 1.

The ability to provide different types of references, including fixed or movable image references, identifiable by a player as targets and obstacles to avoid, as well as the ability to operate the system in different ambient light conditions, contributes substantially to the effectiveness of a player's skill development training in a particular type of ball sport or the like.

According to a preferred embodiment, the training system according to the present invention features said visual display means of defining a training surface having a width of 9 m to 15 m, preferably 11 m to 13 m, and a height of 2 m to 4 m.

According to another preferred embodiment, there is provided a plurality of training surfaces arranged so as to substantially uninterruptedly surround a training field along at least one extension in height, said training field having a width between 7 and 20 m, preferably between 10 and 15 m, and a length between 7 and 20 m, preferably between 10 and 15 m.

A further related object of the present invention is to provide visual display means that can cushion the direct impact of a training object on them, such as a high speed shot ball, without constraining its visual display ability and reduced space requirements and constructive complexity.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a method for operating a training system that provides different types of training references on at least one training surface, including different references and moving references.

This objective is solved according to claim 9.

Detailed Description of the Invention

Figure 1 is a side perspective view of a preferred embodiment of the training system (1) according to the present invention. The training system (1) has structural means (2) arranged along at least one alignment next to a training field (A) and featuring visual display means (3) arranged extensively on the surface along a respective training surface (B). In a preferred embodiment, the training system (1) has a training surface (B) and in an alternative embodiment has four training surfaces (B) provided with a substantially quadratic arrangement, i.e. with said training means. visual display (3) arranged along four alignments surrounding a respective training field (A) so that a player can interact with four training surfaces (B).

It is preferred when said training ground (A) has a width between 9 m and 15 m, preferably between 11 m and 13 m, and a height between 2 m and 4 m.

Each of said training surfaces (B) has visual display means (3) arranged on the side facing the training field (A) and adapted for displaying training references (4), including target type and other types. The training system (1) further comprises position determining means (5) provided in the form of a pair of linear chambers disposed in proximity, on each side, in front of and above the visual display means (2) and oriented in angle to collect the image of the entire training surface (B) together.

The training system (1) further comprises object projecting means (7) adapted for projecting respective training objects (6), including balls, discs or the like.

The training system (1) further comprises an automatic data processing device (8) provided in functional connection for communicating with said visual display (2), positioning determination (5) and object projection (1) means. 7).

Figures 2 and 3 are front perspective representations of the training system (1) having visual display means (3) extending along each training surface (B) and providing visually identified training references (4) by a player on the training ground (A). Said visual display means (3) are provided as an open mesh having illumination devices on the mesh nodes, as will be explained in more detail below.

Said training references (4) include shapes and / or symbols provided as targets to be hit by the player with, and obstacles or other references associated with said targets. As can be seen, according to a first inventive aspect, said visual display means (3) are provided in a mesh-like arrangement having a substantially square meshed cell (31), with at least most of them being preferably each cell node has a visual display device (32) configured as a point of light and individually referenced, so that each training reference (4) is presented in pixel region type form by a plurality of visual display devices (32) provided in adjacent cell nodes of visual presentation media (3).

According to a preferred embodiment, said visual display means (3) comprises a plurality of rows and columns of visual display devices (32) arranged to configure said mesh cell (31), each each row or column of visual display devices (32) is associated with a respective control device (33). According to a preferred embodiment, each visual display device 32 is thus adapted so that a respective control device 33 can control its light intensity and light color.
