Abstract

The present invention generally relates to a luminaire (15) and relates to water slide (10) of the interactive type wherein sliding users can interact with various elements in and around the water slide. More in particular, the present invention relates to a luminaire (15) arranged for integration into a wall surface (168) of a water slide. In a first aspect of the invention, there is provided a luminaire (15) for use in an indoor water park, comprising a light emitting diode module (155), comprising a plurality of light emitting diodes for emitting light through a light exit face of the luminaire; a driver, arranged to be connected with a power supply and arranged for driving the light emitting diode module; a communication module, arranged to provide remote access for control of the driver and activation of the light emitting diode module; and a luminaire housing (151), arranged to be attached to a wall or ceiling (168) of the indoor water park, defining an inner compartment (152) arranged for receiving the light emitting diode module, the driver as well as the communication module, wherein the housing (151) consists of polymer materials, and the inner compartment (152) is casted with transparent resin enclosing the housing (151) and the light emitting diode module (155), the driver as well as the communication module, and wherein the luminaire housing (151) is enclosed with a thermal conductive resin for providing heat dissipation generated from the light emitting diode module (155).
