Abstract

The invention relates to a protective covering for newborn babies, comprising a bag (1) designed to receive the baby's lower limbs and torso. The bag (1) comprises an access opening (2), an outer sheet (3), an inner sheet (4) positioned facing the outer sheet (3) and connected to same, and an air chamber (5) between the inner (4) and outer (3) sheets. The invention also comprises a valve (6) extending between the interior of the air chamber (5) and the exterior, allowing air to enter and leave the air chamber (5). In addition, two upper compartments (8) extend outwards from the bag (1) in order to receive each of the upper limbs, and two lower compartments (7) are provided inside the bag (1) in order to receive each of the baby's legs.
