Definitions

  • the present invention may be included in the technical field of security devices and data recognition, and it refers to a method identifying, by means of a sensing device, stress, emotional nerve and anxiety signs during the check at the security control of an airport, with the purpose of identifying possible threats by means of a sensory object and an image camera.
  • the method is defined by a system that parametrizes the normal or acceptable signs at a determined moment, with the purpose of making possible calculations that help identify physiological changes in the person being out of the ordinary state which warn about a possible attack, and thus achieving prevention thereof.
  • the security systems at airports are generally focused on the search for electrical or metallic artefacts which may be used for violating security and perpetrate a terrorist attack.
  • the method of the invention uses, additionally to existing metal detector and electrical devices, a device detecting patterns of nervous state, stress and perspiration in a passenger before reaching the plane, with the purpose of identifying if they can threaten airport security.
  • Physiological sensors are known in the current state of the art and are used in different areas. For example, for sport people to realize a control of parameters such as heartbeats and others, in the medical area so as to monitor the vital signs of patients.
  • the invention combines this already existing technology, using it for identifying changes in heart, stress, nerves and anxiety physiological states produced by neuronal currents acting to external situations of extreme pressure.
  • this method comprises software which sends the parameters, so as to compare with the information it receives from the sensors, wirelessly to a technological station in order to determine if there are considerable and determinant changes in the physiological patterns already established as normal, for a warning alert emission and the preventive isolation of the passenger.
  • the present invention consists of a method managing a sensor device being temporarily linked to a passenger body, preferably while they are interviewed by the security unit, for monitoring possible changes in physiological patterns such as heartbeat, anxiety, perspiration and stress. Likewise, a camera takes an image of the passenger to analyse. This information is sent wirelessly to a control device provided with a data base storing standard parameters, which verifies and compares the received data with those being stored.
  • the passenger must pass through a tunnel made of a material which allows free-flowing wireless communication without environmental disruption. Abstract
