Abstract
The invention relates to a reusable means (1) for packaging and consuming fingerfood, particularly Hamburgers or Doner Kebab.
Description
Handling Means for Fingerfood
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The invention relates to packaging and easy, as well as taintless consummation of fingerfood, particularly Hamburgers or Doner Kebab.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION / PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED
Fingerfood is quite popular within the young crowd due to its low price and easy access, whereas it may be intricate to eat Hamburgers, Doner Kebab or the like with one hand. In particular, it is not easy to prevent one's fingers, clothing or the environment not to be soiled with crumbs, ketchup, sauce or the like.
The main problem is that particularly Hamburgers or Doner Kebab tend to fall apart, since cohesion of the ingredients partly rely on semi fluids like ketchup, mayonnaise or mustard.
While consuming, these tend to follow gravity, forced by the compacting pressure in the hand of the consumer.
TASK OF THE INVENTION
Therefore it is the task of the here disclosed invention, to ease the consummation of fingerfood and to avoid soiling one's fingers, clothing and the environment.
PRIOR ART
Traditionally, Hamburgers, Doner Kebap, pieces of Pizza and the like are sold on - or wrapped in - paper napkins or paper boxes. The problem with the latter starts when trying to get hold of the food, which might lead to pressing out condiments, which makes eating uncomfortable.
Moreover, environmental demands are not yet met with a lot of packaging material to be disposed after consummation.
Served only on or in paper Napkins often leads to fiddle about with parts, since particularly Hamburgers tend to fall apart, if not handled carefully.
Hitherto there are some packaging and wrapping means known for fingerfood, however no perfect solution for this problem:
WO03010050A1 discloses a convenience foodstuff package with a permanent removable wrapper for one-time-use. It is not reusable, has no safeguard to prevent the food to slip inside or out of the package whilest designated as a sales packaging.
WO2015097352A1 describes a foldable packaging for food products, especially fingerfood products as hamburgers and intended in particular to be consumed at once. It has no safeguard to stop food sliping inside or out of the package and the package is not reusable.
A food handling device for two fingers and one thumb is the invention of US20130277993A1. The basic idea is to avoid direct contact with fingerfood and soiled hands and potentially clothing. There is no precaution against soiling objects or dripping sauces.
The laminated Sandwich bag of US5042666 is a packaging means to be spirally torn and will be destroyed while usage. It is made of different materials and can not easily be recycled.
INVENTIVE STEP AND SOLUTION
The solution was found with a sheet of flexible material, everted at its edges, so to allow inserting fingers into the crease and to keep this aid encompassing the object for to hold it safely.
This may come in different sizes, so to hold even piled foodstuff and for using two hands.
The sheet has anti-slip nubs to prevent food from departing the wrapper. In particular, no parts can fall off from its back or smear off there accidentally.
Said sheet may consist of TPE or similarly flexible foil, with compression moulded edges for easily inserting the fingers to get a good grip.
