Abstract

Disclosed are a resource allocation method and a base station. The method comprises: allocating a periodic CSI resource based on an average value Na of the number of terminals served by an uplink service provided by a base station and a peak value Np of the number of the terminals served by the uplink service provided by the base station; determining a terminal resource demand based on a terminal service QoS demand; when the terminal resource demand of a terminal cannot be determined based on the terminal service QoS demand of the terminal, determining the terminal resource demand based on a current moving speed of the terminal; and determining terminal CSI resource allocation of the terminal based on an occupation condition of the periodic CSI resource and the terminal resource demand. Therefore, the present invention solves the technical problems in the prior art of system resource waste and user experience reduction caused by the fact that the process of scheduling system resources is complex and thus the change of terminal user capacity in a system cannot be flexibly adapted when the terminal user capacity in the system changes.
