Abstract
Description
温度計、窒素及び空気導入管、撹拌機を設けた1Lのフラスコに、エポキシ樹脂(DIC株式会社製「エピクロン850-S」、ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂、エポキシ当量190)380質量部、メタクリル酸170質量部、t-ブチルハイドロキノン0.16質量部を仕込み、窒素と空気とを1対1で混合したガス流通下で、90℃まで昇温した。ここにトリスジメチルアミノフェノール1.1質量部を入れ、110℃に昇温して10時間反応させると、酸価が4以下になったので、反応を終了した。60℃付近まで冷却した後、反応容器より取り出し、エポキシメタアクリレート(1)を得た。
メタアクリレート25質量部とを予め混合した樹脂液100質量部に、パラベンゾキノン0.02質量部、重合開始剤(化薬アクゾ株式会社製「トリゴノックス27」、有機過酸化物)1質量部を混合した後、4,4’-ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート28質量部を混合し、熱硬化性樹脂組成物(1)を得た。
ポリメチレンポリフェニルポリイソシアネートとジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートとの混合物(東ソー株式会社製「ミリオネート MR-200」、ポリメチレンポリフェニルポリイソシアネート含有量56%;以下、「ポリメリックMDI混合物(1)」と略記する。)100質量部とヒドロキシエチルメタアクリレート75.5質量部と、ペンタエリスリトールポリオキシエチレンエーテル(日本乳化剤株式会社製「PNT-40」)15質量部と、フェノキシエチルメタアクリレート21質量部と、重合開始剤(化薬アクゾ株式会社製「トリゴノックス27」、有機過酸化物)2質量部とを混合し、熱硬化性樹脂組成物(2)を得た。
製造例1で得た300mm幅の熱硬化性プリプレグ(1)を基体の巻き付け直前に、プリプレグの両側を150℃の赤外線ヒーターで加熱しながら、温度150℃の直径100mm、幅500mmのパイプに、22mm/秒(プリプレグの積層時間:14秒)の速度で、同じ巻き付け幅で、30周ワインディングし、その後、90秒間、加熱を保持し、成形品(1)を得た。ワインディングしたプリプレグの温度は、146~150℃であった。この成形品(1)の層間せん断強度は、37MPaであった。
製造例1で得た300mm幅の熱硬化性プリプレグ(1)を基材の巻き付け直前に、プリプレグの両側を150℃の赤外線ヒーターで加温しながら、温度150℃の直径100mm、幅500mmのパイプに、67mm/秒(プリプレグの積層時間:5秒)の速度で、同じ巻き付け幅で、30周ワインディングし、その後、90秒間、加温を保持し、成形品(2)を得た。ワインディングしたプリプレグの温度は、146~150℃であった。この成形品(2)の層間せん断強度は、52MPaであった。
製造例1で得た300mm幅の熱硬化性プリプレグ(1)を基材の巻き付け直前に、プリプレグの両側を150℃の赤外線ヒーターで加温しながら、温度150℃の直径100mm、幅500mmのパイプに、125mm/秒(プリプレグの積層時間:3秒)の速度で、同じ巻き付け幅で、30周ワインディングし、その後、90秒間、加温を保持し、成形品(3)を得た。ワインディングしたプリプレグの温度は、146~150℃であった。この成形品(3)の層間せん断強度は、42MPaであった。
製造例2で得た300mm幅の熱硬化性プリプレグ(2)を基材の巻き付け直前に、プリプレグの両側を150℃の赤外線ヒーターで加温しながら、温度150℃の直径100mm、幅500mmのパイプに、125mm/秒(プリプレグの積層時間:3秒)の速度で、同じ巻き付け幅で、30周ワインディングし、その後、90秒間、加温を保持し、成形品(4)を得た。ワインディングしたプリプレグの温度は、146~150℃であった。この成形品(4)の層間せん断強度は、32MPaであった。
製造例2で得た300mm幅の熱硬化性プリプレグ(2)を基材の巻き付け直前に、プリプレグの両側を120℃の赤外線ヒーターで加温しながら、温度120℃の直径100mm、幅500mmのパイプに、67mm/秒(プリプレグの積層時間:5秒)の速度で、同じ巻き付け幅で、30周ワインディングし、その後、120秒間、加温を保持し、成形品(5)を得た。ワインディングしたプリプレグの温度は、116~120℃であった。この成形品(5)の層間せん断強度は、38MPaであった。
製造例1で得た300mm幅の熱硬化性プリプレグ(1)を基材の巻き付け直前に、プリプレグの両側を150℃の赤外線ヒーターで加温しながら、温度150℃の直径100mm、幅500mmのパイプに、9mm/秒(プリプレグの積層時間:35秒)の速度で、同じ巻き付け幅で、30周ワインディングし、その後、90秒間、加温を保持し、成形品(R1)を得た。ワインディングしたプリプレグの温度は、146~150℃であった。この成形品(R1)の層間せん断強度は、11MPaであった。
製造例1で得た300mm幅の熱硬化性プリプレグ(1)を基材の巻き付け直前に、プリプレグの両側を150℃の赤外線ヒーターで加温しながら、温度150℃の直径100mm、幅500mmのパイプに、2mm/秒(プリプレグの積層時間:157秒)の速度で、同じ巻き付け幅で、30周ワインディングし、その後、90秒間、加温を保持し、成形品(R2)を得た。ワインディングしたプリプレグの温度は、146~150℃であった。この成形品(R2)の層間せん断強度は、2MPaであった。
上記で得られた成形品(1)から、幅10mm、長さ20mmの試験片を切り出し、この試験片について、JIS K7078に従い、層間せん断強度を測定し、下記の基準に従い評価した。
◎:50MPa以上
○:15MPa以上50MPa未満
△:10MPa以上15MPa未満
×:10MPa未満
Claims (4)
- 熱硬化性プリプレグを加熱しながら基体にワインディングするシートワインディング成形方法であって、ワインディングした熱硬化性プリプレグに、次の熱硬化性プリプレグを積層するまでの時間が、ワインディングした熱硬化性プリプレグの温度におけるゲルタイムよりも短いことを特徴とするシートワインディング成形方法。
- 前記ワインディングした熱硬化性プリプレグの温度が、80~160℃の範囲である請求項1記載のシートワインディング成形方法。
- 前記熱硬化性プリプレグが、ラジカル重合性樹脂を含有するものである請求項1又は2記載のシートワインディング成形方法。
- 前記プリプレグの150℃におけるゲルタイムが10~90秒の範囲である請求項1~3いずれか1項記載のシートワインディング成形方法。
