Abstract
The invention refers to a shower head providing the user with an aromatherapy shower or bath using natural essences by installing, in said shower head, a drilled dispenser being portable, reusable and easy-to-use for the users. This shower head comprises a cover with a standard thread system for it to be fastened to any water pipe, and a main body inside of which the drilled device where the natural essences chosen by the user is arranged, and which in contact with the water flow from the pipes, allows the aromatized water to flow out for providing the user with an enjoyable and relaxing bath or shower.
Description
SHOWER HEAD FOR BATHS WITH NATURAL ESSENCES
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The present invention can be included in the technical field of domestic plumbing installations, particularly in installations for bathtubs, showers, sinks or washbasins piping.
More specifically, the object of the invention is a shower head providing the user with the possibility of having a shower or a bath with aromatherapy by using natural essences.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Aromatherapy is a therapeutic treatment centred on the use of oils or natural essences extracted from plants, flowers or trees and intended to improve overall health and wellness. These can be applied by contact with the skin or by inhalation and it is very effective for alleviating some physical conditions or diseases and, thereby, for lightening the mood and balance our emotions.
US3083915 refers to a device attached to the shower head for introducing shower soap into the water flow being sprayed out. US484031 1 refers to a shower head having a mechanical two-way valve which allows dispensing shower soap and oils. US7093775 consists of a shower head having a fragrance dispenser.
Therefore, considering the previous documents it is necessary to finde alternatives directed to devices which provide for aromatherapy treatments with natural essences in solid state and being user friendly. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The device shown in the present invention refers to a shower head providing the user with a shower or bath with aromatherapy by using natural essences by installing, in said shower head, a dispenser with holes, being portable and reusable and easy to use
by the users, wherein the natural essence load is customized and based on each consumer likes.
Therefore, an aspect of the present invention refers to a shower head for aromatherapy characterized in that it comprises:
- a main body, inside which there is a grid arranged at the lower section thereof and orifices arranged at the base thereof for water to flow out, and
- a cover of the main body having a standard threading system threaded to the water pipes at its upper section,
wherein the main body comprises a portable and reusable drilled device having natural essences being deposited therein, and being arranged onto the grid.
In a preferred embodiment the main body and the cover are attached to each other by means of a coupling mechanism.
In another preferred embodiment the coupling mechanism is a pressure- or half-thread closing and opening system.
In another preferred embodiment the main body is a cylindrical basket.
In another preferred embodiment the portable and reusable drilled device is made of thermoresistant material.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
FIG 1 .- It is a general view of the shower head.
FIG 2.- It is a view of the cylindrical basket of the shower head.
FIG 3.- It is a view of the portable drilled device.
FIG 4.- It is a view of the shower head cover.
FIG 5.- It is a view of the shower head being attached to the water pipe.
PREFERRED EMBOFIMENT OF THE INVENTION
The following is a description of a preferred embodiment of the invention based on FIGs 1 to 5. The following figures are not to scale and the dimension and/or actual shape of each one of the components of the device may vary.
