Abstract

A device (1) for securing a wire mesh wall to a supporting wall of an animal enclosure, the device comprising: a first body portion (3) configured to define an internal cavity (5) for receiving a wire (23) of said mesh wall, a second body portion (7) laterally connected to said first body portion, said second body portion having an abutment surface (9) configured to lie against the supporting wall of the animal enclosure, a second surface (11) spaced from said abutment surface, and at least one aperture (13) extending from said second surface to said first surface for receiving a fixing; wherein said second body portion is configured so that a head portion of a fixing is recessed within said second body portion when the fixing is inserted through said aperture and into said supporting wall to fix the mesh wall thereto.
