  • the translation upward, away from the horizontal plane, not only contributes to reducing abdominal compression but also reduces it at the back of the head and shoulder blades.
  • the bed is structurally simple and therefore easy to implement, even though it is capable of generating three simultaneous movements of the upper body section.
  • the invention fully achieves the intended aim and objects, by providing a bed for hospital stays that makes it possible to not have to continually reposition the patient and to improve his or her posture by reducing abdominal compression and also by reducing it at the back of the head and shoulder blades when the upper body section is sat up in order to bring the patient to a sitting position.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un lit (10) destiné à des séjours en hôpital, comprenant un cadre (11) surmonté d'une surface de couchage (12) qui est articulée en de multiples sections comportant une section de corps supérieure (13), le cadre (11) étant pourvu d'une partie fixe (14) sensiblement sur un plan horizontal et d'une partie mobile (15), qui soutient la section de corps supérieure (13) et qui peut être inclinée par rapport à la partie fixe (14) et qui peut également effectuer un mouvement de translation le long de la direction longitudinale du lit grâce à des moyens d'actionnement et de guidage adaptés (16) ; le lit (10) comprenant également des moyens (19) destinés à la translation de la section de corps supérieure (13) par rapport à la partie mobile (15) à l'opposé ou vers le plan horizontal, respectivement pendant l'inclinaison vers l'avant et vers l'arrière de la partie mobile (15).
