New Features

• XAdES-EPES Digital Signatures: Sign Word documents with advanced XAdES-EPES (XML Advanced Electronic Signatures - Explicit Policy-based Electronic Signatures) using the SignOptions.XmlDsigLevel API.

• Markdown Underline Recognition: Recognize ++text++ as underlined content when loading Markdown using MarkdownLoadOptions.ImportUnderlineFormatting.

• Group Shape Insertion: Use DocumentBuilder.insertGroupShape() to combine multiple shapes into a grouped object with automatic or specified positioning and size.

• Insert StructuredDocumentTags (SDT): Add content controls (e.g., plain text, date pickers, combo boxes) at the cursor location using DocumentBuilder.insertStructuredDocumentTag().

• Access Footnote/Endnote Separators: New FootnoteSeparatorCollection API allows direct manipulation of separator lines like FootnoteSeparator and EndnoteSeparator.

Enhancements

• Updated Bouncy Castle Library: Upgraded bc-fips support ensures compatibility with IBM VM, improving cryptographic handling.

• Context-Aware Table Formatting: New DocumentBuilderOptions.ContextTableFormatting option preserves formatting outside tables even after table font size/style changes.

• Enhanced Radial Chart Rendering: Visual improvements with support for graduation marks on radial charts.

Bug Fixes

• Dozens of fixes across charting, digital signing, SDT rendering, Markdown parsing, and rendering stability.

Public API and Backward Incompatible Changes

• New APIs:

  • SignOptions.XmlDsigLevel with support for XmlDsigLevel.X_AD_ES_EPES
  • MarkdownLoadOptions.ImportUnderlineFormatting
  • DocumentBuilder.insertGroupShape(...) and insertStructuredDocumentTag(SdtType)

• Obsolete APIs Removed:
