base64 RFC1113 Vanilla ANSI-C Code for a portable stand-alone file encode/decode utility. In 2001, I asked people to 'Help me break it!' Since then, 10+years later, the code remains unbroken and is in wide production use world-wide. It has been ported to all major architectures and been used as a template for ports to different computer and human languages. This is very mature and stable code. Although this comes from a project that was constrained by export controls and is used in secure systems, it is not security code per-se. I have therefore altered the 'Export Controls' category.

    Centrifugo

    Centrifugo

Scalable real-time messaging server in a language-agnostic way

Centrifugo is language-agnostic. It's a standalone server with a simple API that integrates well with an application written in any programming language. No need to change an existing application architecture to introduce real-time features. Just add Centrifugo nearby and let it deal with persistent connections. Centrifugo is built in Go language with some smart optimizations inside. It has good performance – see a description of a test stand with one million WebSocket connections and 30 million delivered messages per minute with hardware comparable to one modern server machine. Many built-in features can help to build an attractive real-time application in a limited time. Centrifugo provides different types of subscriptions, hot channel history, instant presence, RPC calls. There is also the possibility to proxy WebSocket events to the application backend over HTTP or GRPC and more.

    Cy

    Cy

Hackers terminal browser of Cyber blockchains

Cy - a nushell wrapper, a client for the Cyber family blockchains (bostrom, pussy) and IPFS. Bostrom is the name of the consensus computer that maintains a general-purpose, permissionless informational graph where nodes are CIDs of files in the IPFS network, and edges are Cyberlinks (consisting of source, destination, author, height - records) written into the blockchain. The information written into the blockchain is secured to remain in existence as long as the blockchain is operative. The blockchain is designed with economic incentives that motivate validators to sustain the network. For further information about Cyber blockchains, please refer to Bostrom Journal.

    Semantic non-deterministic Superintelligence consensus computer

Semantic non-deterministic Superintelligence consensus computer. A consensus computer allows for the computing of provable relevant answers without any opinionated blackbox intermediaries, such as Google, Amazon or Facebook. Stateless, content-addressable peer-to-peer communication networks, such as IPFS, and stateful consensus computers such as Ethereum, can provide part of the solution needed to obtain such answers. There are however at least 3 problems associated with the above-mentioned implementations. (1) the subjective nature of relevance, (2) difficulty in scaling consensus computers for over-sized knowledge graphs, (3) the lack of quality amongst such knowledge graphs. They are prone to various surface attacks, such as sybil attacks, and the selfish behavior of the interacting agents. In this document, we define a protocol framework for provable consensus computing of relevance, between content-addresable objects, which can be computed on GPUs.

    Estuary

    Estuary

A custom IPFS/Filecoin node that makes it easy to pin IPFS content

A custom IPFS/Filecoin node that makes it easy to pin IPFS content and make Filecoin deals. We're excited to have you try out Estuary! Estuary is a reliable way to upload public data onto Filecoin and pin it to IPFS. As a developer, you have probably used API keys before. Estuary provides a unique identifier used to authenticate a user, developer, or calling program to an application programming interface we have created. If you don't know what an API key is, this tutorial will be challenging for you, but you can reach out to us if you're stuck. API keys are the standard way to authenticate a project with an API rather than a human user. It is also important you understand how to protect your API key/secrets from bad actors and abuse. If this concept is foreign to you, you might be better off just using https://estuary.tech and storing data through our website.

    IPLD Explorer Components

    IPLD Explorer Components

    React components for ipfs-webui

React components for ipfs-webui. This module was extracted from explore.ipld.io so it could be reused from the IPFS Web UI. This module is not intended to be re-used in it's current form by other projects. There is more work to do to make this a nice set of generic components. The ES5-friendly version of the src dir is generated to the dist dir and the page components are all provided as named exports so you can import them. There are peer dependencies so that the parent app can pick the versions of common deps. You'll need to add relevant deps to your project. These components use redux-bundler and your app will need to use a redux-bundler provider in order to propagate the properties and selectors. You can find a basic example of this in ./dev/devPage.jsx.

You can use each of these to access the full set of APIs available on the Hub. To use any of them, you must first start by authenticating your app with the API. LMAX Disruptor

    LMAX Disruptor

    High performance inter-thread messaging library

LMAX aims to be the fastest trading platform in the world. Clearly, in order to achieve this we needed to do something special to achieve very low-latency and high-throughput with our Java platform. Performance testing showed that using queues to pass data between stages of the system was introducing latency, so we focused on optimising this area. The Disruptor is the result of our research and testing. We found that cache misses at the CPU-level, and locks requiring kernel arbitration are both extremely costly, so we created a framework which has "mechanical sympathy" for the hardware it’s running on, and that’s lock-free. This is not a specialist solution, it’s not designed to work only for a financial application. The Disruptor is a general-purpose mechanism for solving a difficult problem in concurrent programming. It works in a different way to more conventional approaches, so you use it a little differently than you might be used to.
