This is a CLI tool to quickly create and manage Kubernetes clusters in Hetzner Cloud using the lightweight Kubernetes distribution k3s from Rancher. Hetzner Cloud is an awesome cloud provider which offers a truly great service with the best performance/cost ratio in the market. With Hetzner's Cloud Controller Manager and CSI driver you can provision load balancers and persistent volumes very easily. k3s is my favorite Kubernetes distribution now because it uses much less memory and CPU, leaving more resources to workloads. It is also super quick to deploy because it's a single binary. Using this tool, creating a highly available k3s cluster with 3 masters for the control plane and 3 worker nodes takes a few minutes only. The tool assigns the label cluster to each server it creates for static node pools (this doesn't apply to autoscaled node pools), with the cluster name you specify in the config file, as the value. -

OpenDrop

OpenDrop is a command-line tool that allows sharing files between devices directly over Wi-Fi. Its unique feature is that it is protocol-compatible with Apple AirDrop which allows to share files with Apple devices running iOS and macOS. Currently (and probably also for the foreseeable future), OpenDrop only supports sending to Apple devices that are discoverable by everybody as the default contacts-only mode requires Apple-signed certificates. We support contacts-only devices by using extracted AirDrop credentials (keys and certificates) from macOS via our keychain extractor. OpenDrop is experimental software and is the result of reverse engineering efforts by the Open Wireless Link project. PingMe is a personal project to satisfy my need to have alerts, most major platforms have integration to send alerts but it's not always useful, either you are stuck with one particular platform, or you have to do a lot of integrations. I needed a small utility that I could just call from my backup scripts, cron jobs, CI/CD pipelines, or from anywhere to send a message with particular information. And I can ship it everywhere with ease. Hence, the birth of PingMe. Everything is configurable via environment variables, and you can simply export the logs or messages to a variable that will be sent as a message, most of all this serves as a swiss army knife sort of tool that supports multiple platforms. -

We needed a way to generate PDF documents from Go. These vary from invoices with highly customizable layouts to reports with tables, graphs and images. In our opinion, the best way to do this was by using HTML/CSS templates as a source for our PDFs. Using CSS print media types and millimeters instead of pixel units we can generate very accurate PDF documents using wkhtmltopdf. It takes care of setting the correct order of options as these can become very long with multiple pages where you have page and TOC options for each page. It makes usage in server-type applications easier, every instance (PDF process) has its own output buffer which contains the PDF output and you can feed one input document from an io.Reader (using stdin in wkhtmltopdf). You can combine any number of external HTML documents (HTTP(S) links) with at most one HTML document from stdin and set options for each input document. -

Parsing HTML at the command line
pup is a command line tool for processing HTML. It reads from stdin, prints to stdout, and allows the user to filter parts of the page using CSS selectors. Inspired by jq, pup aims to be a fast and flexible way of exploring HTML from the terminal. If you have Go installed on your computer just run go get. If you're on OS X, use Homebrew to install (no Go required). By default pup will fill in missing tags and properly indent the page. CSS selectors have a group of specifiers called "pseudo classes" which are pretty cool. pup implements a majority of the relevant ones them. When combining selectors, the HTML nodes selected by the previous selector will be passed to the next ones. Apple has a utility in /usr/bin named tccutil, but it only supports one command, which is to reset the entire database. It has been like this for many versions of macOS. I wanted a command-line utility that would be able to add, remove, list, and take other actions. This tool needs SIP disabled in order to function. The risk of doing so is up to you. tccutil.py can be installed without any additional software. Depending how you have your $PATH variable setup, you can simply type tccutil (instead of the full path) and it will run this utility instead of Apple's. This utility needs super-user priveleges for most operations. It is important that you either run this as root or use sudo, otherwise it won't work and you will end up with “permission denied” errors. -

Simple command line tool for text to image generation
Simple command-line tool for text to image generation using OpenAI's CLIP and Siren (Implicit neural representation network). In true deep learning fashion, more layers will yield better results. Default is at 16, but can be increased to 32 depending on your resources. Technique first devised and shared by Mario Klingemann, it allows you to prime the generator network with a starting image, before being steered towards the text. Simply specify the path to the image you wish to use, and optionally the number of initial training steps. We can also feed in an image as an optimization goal, instead of only priming the generator network. Deepdaze will then render its own interpretation of that image. The regular mode for texts only allows 77 tokens. If you want to visualize a full story/paragraph/song/poem, set create_story to True.
