Jasmin is a Java Assembler. It takes ASCII descriptions for Java classes, written in a simple assembler-like syntax. It converts them into binary Java .class class files suitable for loading into a Java Virtual Machine implementation.

Virtual T is a TRS-80 Model 100/102/200 emulator that runs on Windows, Linux, and Macintosh. The goal of Virtual T is to provide 100% hardware emulation so any existing programs will run. It also adds powerful development and debugging tools.

This sourceforge site for the project is now DEPRECATED and not updated. All current work and new releases are on github: https://github.com/OpenJML/OpenJML. The Java Modeling Language (JML) is a behavioral interface specification language that can be used to specify the behavior of Java modules (as in design by contract -- DBC). It has many tools to do assertion checking, unit testing, etc. The principal current tool of the project is OpenJML -- cf. https://www.openjml.org, with binary downloads from https://github.com/OpenJML/OpenJML/releases/latest

The purpose of this project is to create and update a beginners guide to FreeBASIC. Over the years I have noticed that there was only three real ways to learn FreeBASIC. The FreeBASIC Documentation, the FreeBASIC Community Forum, and A old beginners guide written by Richard D. Clark and Ebben Feagan. Each of these sources are great, but they all assume some experience with a programming language. This Project is taking Richard D. Clark's and Ebben Feagan's "A Beginner's Guide to FreeBasic" and is editing, updating, reorganizing, and simplifying this guide. Mr. Clark and Mr. Feagan generously open sourced there guide so I could start this project. Without being able to stand on their shoulders I could not have even started this project. Verto is a compiler that uses a top-down recursive descent parser implemented in Java for educational purposes. It translates Verto language (a subset of the C language) into Caesar machine language. Verto is the Latin word for interpret.

XBNF Neurotranslator is a BNF grammar langage improvement to handle translations rules and parsing features. A collection of tools to tokenize PBASIC source code and send it to a BASIC Stamp microcontroller.

This project aims to implement an LC2/LC3 assembler and simulator for the Linux and Windows platforms.

Here you can find both an Oberon V4 system for Linux (x86) and a collection of Oberon V4 sources for various other platforms. Oberon V4 was implemented at ETH Zurich for several platforms. Binaries can be found on their server[1] and on the one of the University of Linz[2] where Mössenböck's group did further development after he left ETH and the Group at ETH concentrated on System 3. The 'TIGCC for Linux' project aims to develop a C compiler for TI Graphing Calculators based on a M68000 processor. The target can be a TI89/89Ti/TI92+/V200 calculator. A such compiler already exists under Windows but this one is for Linux users.

The Language Machine is a toolkit for language and grammar: a library, main program, and self-hosted rule compilers with one frontend. The system is easy to use. It directly implements unrestricted rule-based grammars with actions and external interfaces.

ppC++, is an HTML-preprocessed C/C++ language which is adapted especially for active web pages programming and brings new additional features which make web programming very easy.

Tiny (less then 1000 lines of code) education compiler that can compile itself. Implements small subset of C language without pointers, structures etc. Parameters and local variables also not implemented. To interface with OS Borland-style inline assembler are used (db directive only). Based on initial version of Tiny Context compiler (http://avhohlov.narod.ru/p1805en.htm). In order to simplicity compiler uses fixed source and target file names (C.C and C.COM). On Linux and any 64-bit operating systems MS DOS emulator such as DOSBox are required.

AlphaC es un pequeño intérprete similar al lenguaje C en Español, creado en la herramienta Microsoft Visual C++ con fines académicos. El proyecto tiene el objetivo de mostrar el código fuente de un pequeño compilador para ilustrar a los estudiantes las diferentes fases de construcción de un compilador (Análisis Léxico, Análisis Sintáctico y Análisis Semántico). El código está creado de manera bastante elegante de manera que se parece a la sintaxis utilizada en los libros de texto de gramáticas y compiladores. Además el código es corto y fácil de comprender.

Hipo is a hypothetical computer to facilitate the learning of machine language. The student can use hipo to develop simple programs and understand the internal logic of a computer. There is a plan to implement Donald Knuth's MMIX machine language, also.

Hogan.js is a 2.5k JS templating engine developed at Twitter. Use it as a part of your asset packager to compile templates ahead of time or include it in your browser to handle dynamic templates. If you're developing with Node.js, just use NPM to add the Hogan package. Hogan.js was developed against the mustache test suite, so everything that holds true for templates is also the case for hogan.js. That means you get variables, sections, lambdas, partials, filters, and everything else you've come to expect from mustache templating, only much, much faster. Use hogan.compile() to precompile your templates into vanilla JS. It's best to serve your templates precompiled whenever you can (rather than the raw templates), as parsing is the most time consuming operation. Once compiled, call the render() method with a context and optional partials object. If supplying partials, you can compile them ahead of time, or pass string templates.

IMA2 Simple command-line editor of binary files (images, object filers, byte code, etc). More sofisticated that F4 option in FAR. More simple that GUI hex editors. Can be useed as command-line utility in scripts.
