ShadowsocksX-NG is the new ShadowsocksX, a secure socks5 proxy for accessing restricted sites or services on macOS. ShadowsocksX-NG was created separately from the original implementation as there had been too much unused code and dependencies of the ss-local source code in the original that had to be maintained. As such it was difficult to update. ShadowsocksX-NG has just a copy of ss-local from Homebrew, and its GUI code has been rewritten in Swift. It now runs as a background service rather than an in-app process, so the ss-local may still be running even after you quit the app. ShadowsocksX-NG also has an added manual mode so you can configure your apps to use the socks5 proxy manually without configuring the system proxy settings. -

If you need an earlier version for an older version of Swift, you can specify its version in your Podfile or use the code on the branch for that version. Older branches are unsupported. Swift Package Manager uses debug configuration for debug Xcode build, that may result in significant (up to x10000) worse performance. Performance characteristic is different in Release build. XCFrameworks require Xcode 11 or later and they can be integrated similarly to how we’re used to integrating the .framework format. Embedded frameworks require a minimum deployment target of iOS 9 or macOS Sierra (10.12). CryptoSwift uses array of bytes aka Array<UInt8> as a base type for all operations. Every data may be converted to a stream of bytes. You will find convenience functions that accept String or Data, and it will be internally converted to the array of bytes. -

It's probably really broken and is only useful as a way for you to learn more about obfuscation and SourceKit. SwiftShield is a tool that generates random and irreversible encrypted names for your iOS project's types and methods (including third-party libraries). It uses Apple's SourceKit to mimick Xcode's indexing behavior, revealing a complete map of your project that is used to safely rename parts of your project. Reverse engineering iOS apps is relatively simple due to the fact that almost every single type and method name is exposed in the app's binary. This allows jailbreak tools like class-dump and Cycript to extract this information and use it to change the behavior of your app in runtime. -

Secretive is a macOS app that generates and stores SSH keys inside the Secure Enclave, keeping private keys non-exportable and bound to your hardware. It runs an ssh-agent compatible service, so existing tools can use the keys without any changes to your workflows. Because the keys never leave the Secure Enclave, even root on the host cannot read them, which raises the bar against credential theft. A simple menu-bar interface lets you create, label, and manage keys, prompt for authorization, and control which processes may request signatures. The design favors least privilege and auditability: you explicitly approve usage and can revoke access without having to hunt for files on disk. For developers, admins, and security-conscious users, Secretive provides a clean way to upgrade SSH hygiene with hardware-backed protection and minimal friction. -

We always appreciate pull requests. Facebook and Google's SDKs are heavyweight and take time to set up and use. You can use Simplicity and only have to manage one SDK for logging in with an external provider in your app. Simplicity adds just 200KB to your app's binary, compared to 5.4MB when using the Facebook & Google SDKs. Simplicity is also extensible, and already supports other login providers, like VKontakte (the largest European social network) and generic OAuth providers. Simplicity is maintained by Stormpath, an API service for authentication, authorization, and user management. If you're building a backend API for your app, consider using Stormpath to help you implement a secure REST API. -
