MusicXML import/export, and MIDI (SMF) import/export. MuseData import, MIDI input for note entry, with integrated sequencer and software synthesizer to play the score. You can print or create pdf files. MuseScore provides a number of learning resources to help the new user get started. When you run MuseScore for the first time, the Startup Wizard appears to help you set up some basic features of the software. One of these features is called Tours, and, as the name suggests, gives you a guided tour of the program. MuseScore offers a full set of instructions videos, each covering a specific subject. Take the audio from the device's microphone and visualize the amplitude of the different frequencies as bars on the screen. Each bar represents a certain bandwidth of low to high frequencies. The leftmost bar starts at 50 Hz and the rightmost bar ends at 10 kHz. Although the frequencies outside this spectrum are audible, they do not contribute much to the overall sound image. You can also adjust the number of bars. -

Snapcast
Synchronous multiroom audio player
Snapcast is a multiroom client-server audio player, where all clients are time synchronized with the server to play perfectly synced audio. It's not a standalone player, but an extension that turns your existing audio player into a Sonos-like multiroom solution. Audio is captured by the server and routed to the connected clients. Several players can feed audio to the server in parallel and clients can be grouped to play the same audio stream. One of the most generic ways to use Snapcast is in conjunction with the music player daemon (MPD) or Mopidy. The encoded chunks are sent via a TCP connection to the Snapclients. Each client does continuous time synchronization with the server, so that the client is always aware of the local server time. Every received chunk is first decoded and added to the client's chunk-buffer. Knowing the server's time, the chunk is played out using a system dependend low level audio API (e.g. ALSA) at the appropriate time. -

ExoPlayer is an application level media player for Android. It provides an alternative to Android’s MediaPlayer API for playing audio and video both locally and over the Internet. This software integrates a small, specialized synthesizer and vocal processor. It can be used to learn Byzantine Church singing. You can play from the keyboard, mouse or touch screen. MIDI input is also available. Voice functions include: pitch highlighting, synthesizer control by voice, pitch correction and voice-to-ison conversion. On the screen there are labels with symbols of Byzantine notes. There is a metronome. The program is oriented on the Chrysanthos tuning of the diatonic scale: 9/8 - 12/11 - 88/81. The octave is divided into 17 (or 19) non-equal parts, it allows you to get all the Byzantine modes.
