Pros: I loved the design of the website, it was easy to see all of our art pieces for auction, everything was set up beautifully. It was simple for me to upload pieces, provide descriptions, set a starting price and even change the increments of bidding amounts depending on the price range of the item. The site was user friendly for me as the account manager, easy to see the bids coming in and simple to use the fulfillment center once bidding had closed. People were also able to donate money in any amount if they didn't want to bid on anything specifically, which helped us raise more money for our charitable cause. The BetterWorld team was also wonderful at communication throughout the process and offered their assistance, although they already made the process very simple so I didn't need to reach out for help!

Cons: I was confused at the end of our auction (my own misunderstanding) that the total amount raised included the Stripe fees (which are shown as fees in each transaction), and I thought there was more taken out at the end when we withdrew the money. However, when BetterWorld reached out to me to ask about my experience, I presented my concerns and they clarified everything for me. Excellent customer service!

Overall: Overall I would highly recommend BetterWorld to anyone looking to do a charity auction or fundraiser. The fees are minimal (and usually paid for by the participating donors, they have the choice to cover the fees), the process of setting up and running the auction and donation campaign was simple to manage. Thank you BetterWorld for creating such a wonderful resource for charity!

Pros: One of the things that is the best, is the ease of using the platform to produce extraordinary things. We we're looking for product to assist us in our annual fundraising efforts for our organization. I found this organization during my search, and started setting it up. It was so easy to set up and to make it work for our organization our first year out of the starting gate we raised nearly $5,000. We are reaching our third year and are nearing the $10,000 mark. Each year they have improved more and more which gives us the opportunity to make more for our organizations. A lot of times you have to wait weeks for your payment, not with this organization your money is ready for you 6 days after everything is finalized and all you have to do is push a button.

Cons: BetterWorld does such a good job at everything that they do that there are really in my opinion no cons that I've encountered. I can't say enough about this company.

Overall: The most easiest site to use to produce extraordinary profits for your non-profit organization. The staff at better world is phenomenal!! When we have had issues each time it was by human error, they were able to fix it within minutes! They have gone way beyond whatever expected, they add new things so fast that when we go back as an organization to utilize them for the next fundraiser, there are so many new things that are making us even more profitable. They truly are a wonderful company looking out for the nonprofit organizations everywhere. I have suggested so many of my friends in the nonprofit world to use better world website and I will continue to do that with pleasure!!

Cons: No cons! Everything was great. The site is beautiful and easy to use, the customer service seemed great. I didn't have any problems.

Overall: I used this platform to set up a silent auction for my daughter's school. We had very limited time, volunteers and resources and I was still able to raise over 3,000! Even though I am not very tech savvy I was able to figure all the options out with the help of a complimentary 15 minute consultation with BetterWorld support and the team reached out to me several times by email to make sure everything was going ok (it was). I can't recommend this company highly enough!

Pros: It was so easy to set up our online auction! Multiple people could upload their items. So easy! We loved it!

Cons: It was our first online auction. No complaints! It was great!

Overall: Flawless. We will definitely use this platform every year. So easy to use! Everyone raved about how professional it all looked.

Pros: As a nonprofit startup organization, one of the most challenging things we had to endure was the cost of hosting fundraising and sponsorship-based programming. Being introduced to BetterWorld allowed our organization to create a Benefit Gala designed to bring together community members from across the state and, for the first time, accumulate more than $7000 in ticketed and sponsorship funds in one of the most easy-to-use and cost-free platforms available to nonprofits!

Cons: What BetterWorld does well in product offering and variety but lacks in design and user creativity. Though this does not stop our organization from using BetterWorld, this social impact-focused platform limits users to the available structure and functionality options. Though competing platforms offer so much more for a cost, it is nice to know that I can still get things done with the free services that BetterWorld provides.

Overall: Consequently, BetterWorld has been a game-changer for the organization. All of our event registrations and donations are now collected through BetterWorld. Though many features are still either in the works or suggestions made to the BetterWorld team, the gracious team members who provide premier support and the dedication to the craft of supporting organizations like ours make BetterWorld an up-and-coming platform dedicated to making a lasting impact in service leadership.

Pros: The BetterWorld site has been very easy to use and if I had any questions the customer service and response time has been excellent. I have used the software for our Foundation and it has been great for our on-line auction and also for ticketed events that we have done. No complaints what so ever.

Cons: I really can't think of any negatives. I have been very happy with it.

Overall: 5 star review for both the product and the customer service. I interviewed several software options before selecting BetterWorld and I have not been disappointed with my decision.

Pros: I have had an amazing experience with the Better World platform. I appreciate how quick and easy it was to create our profile. The customer support and communication from the Better World team is phenomenal. All of my correspondence has been responded to promptly and throughly. The Better World team reaches out regularly to make sure our needs are being met and to offer ongoing assistance when needed. I appreciate the option donors have to cover the transaction fee associated with their contributions, allowing us to retain as much of our contributions as possible within our organization. Another important component of this platform is the ease of use for those donating. Donors are also given multiple choices in how often they would like to contribute and can do so in a way that works best for them.

Cons: The only challenge I have faced when using the BetterWorld platform came when trying to edit my profile information. Once I reached out for instruction on what I was trying to do, I received a prompt response with clear directions on how to complete my task.

Overall: My overall experience with BetterWorld has FAR exceeded my expectations. As I continue to utilize the Better World platform, my appreciation for its potential ongoing positive impact on our non-profit grows. I am extremely happy with my decision to create our BetterWorld profile.

Pros: BetterWorld's platform is easy to set up, user friendly, and the display is visually appealing. It allows me to share information about our school's online auction and event ticket sales with confidence, knowing that the site is easy to navigate, even for the technically challenged.

Cons: I have only had positive experiences. BetterWorld created a great and helpful product.

Overall: BetterWorld allows me to create online auctions and online ticket sales without stress. The company has taken care to make this platform easy to use for everyone and that bolsters bids and sales. It was my lucky day when I discovered BetterWorld for our school's events.

Pros: I love the online auction feature. Easy to use, run the auction, load items and easy to collect payments at the end since everyone that bids has to create an account and give their information ahead of time. Easy to use and share your auction event.

Cons: None. It would be nice to have a feature to automatically email your past contacts for our auctions. I am able to download the contacts, but the we have to manual extract the emails to send an email about an upcoming new auction. Just a wish item.

Overall: I am very happy to have found this platform/program. In the past we spent a lot of money to put on an annual in person event with hopes to recover our expenses and it was very time consuming as we are all unpaid volunteers. I love this auction platform. We are currently running our 3rd event for the past 12 months.

Pros: We LOVED using BetterWorld for our silent auction. We raised $2700 using the app , which is way more than we would have raised using the old school pen and paper route.

Cons: Nothing that we can think of. We had a lot of older people using the app, and even they thought it was seamless and easy to use.

Overall: A+ experience. We will definitely use the BetterWorld app again for our next auction or charity event.

Pros: One stop shop on setting up my auction and collecting payment from participants! When the auction was going, it was quick to update those bidding and allowed me to see how much money was being raised. Loved having participants have to enter their payment and contact information from the get go, saved me from having to hunt them down and get payment.

Cons: Initially setting up my first auction and trying to test it without going live was a bit of a struggle, and not super intuitive. It is also not clear how to archive or hide old auctions that are done and I no longer need access to.

Overall: Overall, using BetterWorld for our auctions has been a wonderful experience! I would (and have) recommend them to other non-profits I work with, and will most definitely use them for all of our future auctions.

Pros: The first thing I noticed was the ease of building an auction website for our theatre company. After watching an instructional video a couple of times (I'm a slow learner with new things), I followed up with Sam (my BW rep) to ask a few additional questions. Overall, the customer service I received was outstanding. The reps are there if you have any issues or questions, and the response was always courteous and fast.

The other thing I loved was how the auction ended. Winners were sent messages telling them that they had won, and to show that message to the auction coordinator to pick up their items. It was all incredibly smooth. Credit cards were registered in advance, and we had no problems with billing. The whole process couldn't have been smoother!

Cons: I truly didn't find anything about working with BetterWorld that I didn't like. From beginning to end, the process of setting up, executing, and then wrapping up our online auction was so smooth!

Overall: As I mentioned before, once I had reviewed how BetterWorld worked, and how it could streamline the auction process for my company, I was sold. Trouble-free and easy to learn - even for an old guy like me!

Pros: I've had a really remarkable experience so far with BetterWorld. I was using another auction platform that just wasn't able to do all of the things I imagined for an auction -- a donation campaign, impact campaign, beautiful interface, rearrangeable categories. When I found BetterWorld, I was so relieved. It was just days before our auction launched, and I was THRILLED with all of the capabilities of the platform, and also relieved at how easy it was to set up the auction. So much drag and drop, and everything was really blessedly simple.

One thing I LOVE is the BetterWorld lets the donor or bidder pay the processing fees. It's meant that the nonprofit -- this little public school we're fundraising for --- has been able to save a ton. That's huge. It's made such an impact.

I feel like a large piece of the ongoing success of the auction has been because BetterWorld is a really user-friendly and beautiful-looking site. I also got a lot of fast responses from staff with questions I had when I was first setting up. I'm really happy with BetterWorld!

Cons: I haven't really found any cons.... hoping that stays true through the end of the auction!

Overall: So far I've found BetterWorld to be a really amazing auction platform. I'm thrilled that we found it, and will hope to use to again next year for our school's silent auction again!

Overall: As a teacher in a public school, the last thing I wanted to do is pay an astronomical amount of money for hosting an online art auction benefit for a non-profit organization, or spend all the proceeds in doing so. I did A LOT of research into other websites that offered this type of service, and the only one that I found reasonable was BetterWorld. Although I originally chose BetterWorld for the low fee to use their site, (and no hidden fees!) soon I loved how easy it was to set everything up. The visual options for my page and for the auction are eye catching, I am able to have others be part of the uploading process, keep track of the progress of the auction, or make necessary changes as we go. It is EXTREMELY user friendly for both creators and participants, even for the most technologically challenged individuals. The same can be said about their costumer service. Any time I had had a question, the staff at BetterWorld has always been very helpful, courteous and quick to reply. Overall, I would recommend BetterWorld to ANYONE that is looking to do an online auction, I don't know about others, but my experience has been nothing other than great!!

Pros: Our school found BetterWorld during COVID with the help of some parents. We were looking for an online platform to host an online auction and possible ticketing service. It was a great find and a perfect fit for our school. We like that it is very simple to use and upload things to the website and easy to manage. We have also started using it for donation campaigns as well as ticketed events and it's been wonderful. This year during our online auction we had one short window of time (maybe 20-30 mins) where the website was not loading but as soon as I emailed, it was fixed and I was emailed back with the problem. They assured me that it would not happen again and all was smooth sailing with no complaints. I look forward to our continued use of their service to help fundraise for our school.

Cons: The only thing that we have thought could be improved with BetterWorld is the navigation when having an online auction. When someone is looking at an auction item, there is no easy way to go to the next item. Instead they have to go back out to the main page to see the next item. This does not hurt the website our our auction but just an idea on how to potentially improve it for the future.

Overall: Overall, our school really likes BetterWorld and will continue to use it for our online auctions, ticketed events, and donation campaigns. We love the quick response when we have a question or problem and also the ease of use that the site offers.

Pros: It is really easy to set up and start using with minimal training.

You can do multiple things with it. I've used it for donations, raffles, impact campaigns, and just recently an auction.

It is easy to download the purchase history and upload it to CRM software.

Customer support is fantastic! Easily the best part of the entire system. They are fast to fix issues and also will listen and change things if needed. They are very easy to work with.

Oh and it's FREE!!

Cons: The auction fulfillment piece can use some work. I love popcorn bidding but it caused other winners of my auction to have to wait for everyone else to finish and people were unhappy.

The auction table cards look great except the print is way too small (7pt).

There are some things that it seems like you should be able to edit that you can't, like table names or sponsor names.

A more robust texting feature would be nice.

Overall: For the price you really can't beat this software. Last year we used One Cause and spent lots of money and the results really aren't that much different. The team has changed things when I have brought them up and been quick to respond to issues when I have had them. I will be having another debrief with them soon since we just finished our annual gala fundraiser.

Pros: I was so delighted to find a platform that enabled me to quickly put together a fundraiser for a local family in need. Wow, with just a few clicks I was able to upload pictures and items or an auction, and even invite others to do so while I remained administrator to approve them without all the work.

The site gives a professional front page that can be easily shared on social media, and inspire others to join in to help their neighbors.

Cons: I didn't bump into a single problem. The only con I have, was that I was still nervous that there might be hidden fees or something, but thankfully I had zero issues.

Overall: I'm so grateful for a solution that helps me help someone else. I had the whole thing set up in just a couple of days.
