Pros: I really liked how easy and how fast it was to import my transactions to CoinLedger. I imported transactions via API and via CVS file upload and both were very smooth. I also really liked their customer support. This was my first attempt to tackle crypto taxes, so I had a ton of questions and concerns which were answered quickly making the whole process much less stressful and allowing me to meet my extension deadline. I also really liked that you could view your gains/losses with each of the different accounting methods allowed. Made decisions on how to proceed very easy.

Cons: The couple things I didn’t like I was told will be fixed in the app update Nov.2021, so really it becomes a moot point. I will mention them anyway though in order to give a fair and accurate review. I had crypto gifts, and I found it a little hard to figure out what the cost basis would be for the person receiving the gift. Not only did customer service offer me a work around, they also informed me that will be taken care of the the app update coming next month. The other thing that I was told will also be upgraded is the availability to connect Meta Mask and Dex’s.

Overall: Overall, I would highly recommend CoinLedger to anyone who is nervous about doing crypto taxes, who wants an easy and streamlined experience which literally gives you your tax report in minutes not hours or days. Rest assured that any questions that come up will be dealt with and they will bend over backwards to help you any way they can. Thanks CoinLedger!

Pros: When I had some questions I simply wrote CoinLedger. Upon doing so I received quick replies with detailed help/instructions.

Cons: There are no cons with which I am familiar with CoinLedger.

Overall: CoinLedger is THE service to use! I say this from two years of experience. I know I won't use any other service.

Pros: Crypto-tax is not easy but this service is super-helpful. And would have been very easy if all my exchanges were ones listed with CoinLedger. I made a mistake in my data entry and the support offered to trouble-shoot for me was prompt and second to none. I happily recommend.

Cons: There was a pop up just before I finalised, saying tax wasn't due for this year (it was), which was (and still is) confusing. However, the support team quickly addressed my query on the matter and advised simply to proceed, which went smoothly.

Overall: Overall I found CoinLedger an excellent service and far simpler and more affordable than any of the alternatives I explored. You need to be a bit tech-savvy and meticulous if you need to enter data from an exchange (or exchanges) not listed tho, as these are not automated and all transactions need to be entered manually. However the instructions for doing this, and back up support, are excellent. A very good experience.

Cons: -No Kraken margin trade support yet.

There are some things I'd like to be able to adjust manually that I can't, but that seems to be a limitation on other comparable services as well

Overall: Great platform with even better customer support!

The customer support is really what stands out t me in today's environment.

Pros: This firm produce superb support services for their clients, even though they are not 24 hours they do correspond promptly within a convenient timeframe. I am an emotive businessman so prioritizing customer service is a must for myself and CoinLedger fulfills that satisfaction.

Cons: A mobile application should be considered for maximum utilization.

Overall: Great customer and product experience(s), I’ve been a client since 2020 — I will be a long-term customer with CoinLedger!

Pros: Friendly and responsive. Lauren was quick to respond. Even when the issue seemed to be resolved and it wasn’t, Lauren made sure that the import issue was fixed.

Cons: The ticket took some time but I understand that these issues can take sometime to fix. No real cons.

Overall: Lauren was quick and attentive and ensured that my issue was resolved. Lauren was very helpful and I was aware of how the issue was being resolved.

Pros: The customer service was just outstanding. Fast replies, agile and going over the top to help. One of the best customer support I have ever received.

Cons: Doesn't support UK tax year at this stage, so I couldn't use it to its full potential.

Overall: Very happy with the overall experience of the service. fair pricing, simple to use friendly staff. will be back once UK tax year is supported.

Pros: Great website/ team with a lot of knowledge and information in regards to crypto taxes. The system makes it very easy to acquire all the needed information.

Cons: The only con I can think of (not a killer) import mining transactions automatically.

Overall: Great tool for anybody looking to simplify their Crypto taxes. Makes everything easy, fast, and hassle free.

Pros: CoinLedger is not only pretty easy to use, but whenever I have had any issues their support team really helped out. This even went as far as responding to and implementing feature requests I submitted. It's by far the best software I've seen to have the most integrations with exchanges and platforms. If you can't integrate with one of your crypto services, it's also pretty easy to just throw in an excel sheet into the platform for the few transactions you otherwise can't link to a crypto service for.

Cons: The pricing structure I don't love being tied to number of transactions. It has no variable cost really for the company to crunch my large amount transactions vs someone's smaller amount. I don't necessarily mind paying for advanced features, but the idea that if I keep trading with high amounts of transactions I need to pay more kind of bothers me.

Overall: Love this platform. It really has saved me when it comes to keeping records for crypto tax reporting. This is a really new industry and I love investing in something I think I'm early to, but keeping with with the tax rules is challenging and I care a lot more that I've seen CoinLedger have the capacity to improve over time than it being perfect because it gives me faith I can count on the platform in the future. Also the ability to export my data give me the comfort that I'm not locked into this platform should I find the company isn't keeping up with the changes regulations as well.

Pros: Great Support and API's or File uploads are simple. I found the software very easy to use, intuitive with a good pipeline.

Cons: The tiered pricing seems good but not 100% clear on what my spend will be yet.

Overall: Great experience! Caio and the support team is super helpful and knowledgeable. There was a formula that was off on my spreadsheet and they made the fix and sent back to me within minutes.

Pros: Sent a message during non business hours ad they still responded and helped with my issue immediately. The knowledgeable staff and simple to use product makes an otherwise daunting experience, less stressful. Thank you to the entire team at CoinLedger. You are all very much appreciated.

Cons: NO cons at all.

Overall: All I can say is that there should be more companies who operate in this matter. If the goal is to acquire customers for life, you can count me among the lifers.
