DoctorConnect

Pros: One of my favorite features is the ability to send patients individual text messages and be able to encrypt them as well if needed. Along with individual texting is sending mass text messages to a list of patients on a providers schedule for a certain day. Our patients prefer text to call and so this has allowed us to get in touch with so many more patients. I've also enjoyed the Enhanced Text feature. This adds a link to an appointment reminder that will pull up a map app to guide patients to the address as well as allow the patient to change the language of the reminder.

Cons: I do wish there was more capabilities for adding attachments to our reminders. Sending documents and paperwork is such a big part of healthcare now days and that feature is not available. I also wish there was a way to better track the Enhanced Reminders and the patients response to those reminders. The basic text message reminder option allow you to view the response the patient sent to their reminder. With the Enhanced Reminder feature, if the patient confirms or reschedules their appointment via the link that is sent, you're not able to view their response, you have to pull up the report and see what they responded that way. Being able to see a patients specific response to a text reminder helps us show patients where we get reschedule information when they come in confused why their appointment got rescheduled. It just backs up the medical office.

Overall: Overall, my experience with DoctorConnect has been great! A lot of growth opportunities are available to make it even greater though! I've had experience with so many different reminder systems that are much worse then DoctorConnect though so we are very appreciative of the services and features they do provide.
