    "Too long for funds and too much money for a supposedly FREE site "

    Pros: Sweet gesture; although, no longer practical. Venmo or Cash app. Is instant. I am certain there will be better options in the future than this.

    Cons: Takes WAY too long to receive payment. Free site that charges too much for no marketing or support. Some people have told me they have never gotten their money or, it took months to get it.

    Overall: I am not a fan of GoFundMe. They take advantage of serious and Immediate needs. They have also been known to get hacked. Free site…it is not!

    Pros: Easy to use, if the company doesn't kowtow to government ideologues.

    Cons: GoFundMe shuts down fundraising for causes the left doesn’t like. That's antithetical to a free society.

    Overall: I have given to a campaign or 2 on GoFundMe in the past, but never again.

    "Think twice before using GoFundMe"

    Pros: None, There's nothing to recommend re this service unless you are a marketing expert. If you are a marketing expert, why pay them?

    Cons: GoFundMe has no marketing at all. When a project is listed, it just sits there. If donations are desired, the creator of the project must Market the campaign or nothing will happen. If you don't have a Facebook, Twitter, following or other marketing tools, the project will just sit there and dwindle. I tried to setup a fund campaign to assist low income women with housing. Total donations were NOTHING. I am not a marketing expert. I have an intentional small footprint on the internet because of how oppressive governments have become.

    Overall: Overall, I not impressed. Unless the fundraiser is published on TV, Radio, or social media, newspaper, internet, with a large audience, the fund raiser will not be funded. Why pay a fee to a site that does NOTHING.
