"Versatile and ingenious tool for production of multiple styles." Posted 2022-06-09
Pros: Extremely intuitive platform with easy to use controls.
A wide selection of carefully curated loops, instruments, and synth pads.
Near limitless production possibilities.Cons: Absolutely no cons.
Like none.
None whatsoever.
And it’s only a $10 a month subscription.Overall: Anytime I see a new line of software with a lot of hype behind it, I take it with grain (or rather, mountain) of salt. Arcade is a sort of rare occurrence where the hype is warranted.

Many pieces of software have left me wanting in some form or fashion. Sometimes it makes amazing sounds and it’s cheap (!), but it’s buggy. Other times it may be grossly overpriced and massively underwhelming in terms of sound design, while also being the complete opposite of intuitive. I’ve even tried software that just plain sucks and, afterwards, find out through some interview or video that the artist who was in the ad promoting this like the next game changer hasn’t even used it on a single. But not arcade.
Arcade is not only packed full of amazing loops, nearly spilling over with beautiful synth pads, and bursting at the seams with wonderful surprises. It’s also is extremely user friendly and extremely intuitive.
Further more, it has the power and versatility to cover an extremely wide breadth of genres of music. Jungle? It’s got you. House? Easy as pie. Scoring a film project and you need that secret sauce for the soundtrack to stand out? Take a seat and let it wow you.
Arcade is a must for anybody who’s even half way serious about what they’re creating at home or in the studio.
