Rategenie

Pros: The features are unique, powerful, and super helpful. The price is low.

Cons: There's not much I can find wrong with Rategenie so far.

Overall: I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. Real-time rate adjustments, local events monitoring, competitor monitoring? This is an extremely powerful application, and it's entirely effortless.

Pros: This is best soft and it's price, features, and ease of use. Design is really looks cool.

Cons: Nothing at all...there's literally nothing bad about it

Overall: I'm just glad I gave the trial a go, I wouldn't have understood what 'automated rate management' was otherwise!

Pros: I don't think they could have made this any easier...it synchronized instantly and prepared my whole rate calendar the moment I clicked save on the strategy

Cons: There are no issues after 1 month of use on 12 properties.

Overall: I am getting a lot of help from rategenie here, it would take me months to set up my rates for all of our properties. And it keeps monitoring and adjusting for them all without any prompts!

Pros: Simple setup, you can even log in with your tokeet account. they give you a nice long free trial too before you pay anything (and it's not much money anyway).

Cons: I guess its a little difficult to understand all of the stuff its doing but you don't need to if you use the automatic strategies

Overall: I have made a lot of changes with rategenie, and it has improved something i previously neglected (rate adjustments) just because it was too complex. so its a win for me!

Pros: It costs about $10 per house per a month and it makes me a significant amount more, so it's a no brainer.

Cons: I would like to see more pre-set strategies (like ones that focus on long term bookings, or ones that always undercut a specific competitor lol)

Overall: I'm very pleased about Rategenie, I don't think I'll ever get rid of it now.

Pros: Rategenie has actually improved my revenue more than they advertised.

Cons: It can be a little difficult to understand what the program is doing, but after reading about it, i was satisfied enough to try it. It's not necessary to know all the details since it does things automatically but I just like to know.

Overall: It only took about 3 or 4 days to notice how my bookings were increasing, and it's been maintaining a very solid schedule ever since. Rategenie is worth ten times what they charge.

Pros: The app takes about 10 seconds to import all of your rentals, and then another 10 to implement a rate strategy. You close the app and it sits there working in the background adjusting your rates for you. To say it's easy is an understatement.

Cons: It's a little difficult to understand the competitor research data, but there's helpdocs for that

Overall: Rategenie is the first innovative thing I've seen in VR management for a long time. I've been in the industry since the start, and it's safe to say RG is shifting things into a new gear..

Pros: Very unique features - I don't even think there are other options if you want what Rategenie does...

Cons: It requires Tokeet - this is good if you're already a Tokeet user, but I wish they made a stand alone version. I can use it for my own properties, but I can't use it for the ones my business works with because they're set up with airgms

Overall: It's a really great product, and it's definitely helping Tokeet look like the best vr management option around now. I use them both and I'm paying very little to do so, whereas my company is paying triple digits for less features

Pros: It has local area monitoring for events and competitor prices and a very user-friendly interface.

Cons: The help doc section is on a separate site from the Tokeet docs...it took me a bit to find that.

Overall: It's a smart little app, and it's as sophisticated as they say it is. They definitely made it as easy as possible to use, but you still have complete control over the parameters if you want to form your own custom strategy.

Pros: if you already use tokeet then rategenie will pretty much just set itself up, and its very similar to the tokeet design too so its easy to use.

Cons: if you want to edit your own strategy, youll have to learn some new words in the help section. i think the automatic strategy they provide is doing way more than i could anyway so it doesnt really matter.

Overall: im happy with this app, i had a flat rate for most of my calendar year so rategenie has made a huge improvement. bookings increased and im making more money now so it definitely works.

Pros: Simple to set up, inexpensive, easy user interface, great results so far !

Cons: Opens in a new window - i wish it was a page within the tokeet dashboard.

Overall: This is just an awesome application all around, I've only had it for a week and I'm already seeing a difference in my bookings.

Pros: I only started using rategenie because it was already connected to my tokeet dashboard, but I'm glad i clicked it because it remapped my entire calendar's rates for me.

Cons: Having little issue for the first time but it resolved later
