About Sharp Archive
Sharp Archive is a leading provider for archiving communication for regulated organizations. Most of our users are required to archive in industries such as finance, insurance, government, education, healthcare, and pharma.
Sharp Archive was founded by financial professionals who are also under mandatory archiving rules. When we were looking for software solutions, we were surprised by how expensive and out-of-date the options were. In some cases, the software had not been updated to meet the latest regulations.

"Sharp Archive wins my vote" Posted 2022-03-30
Pros: It feels like a HUGE improvement over what we were using. I really love how simple and modern it is. It just feels great! Onboarding was really quick. Our bank had been using our old software since before I was here, so I don't know how it compares. One of the vice presidents and I set aside some time to change over to Sharp Archive. We thought it would take an hour to get it going. Sign up took about 30 seconds and then we added our accounts in probably another 30 seconds. It was so fast we were a little confused for a second, like "Is that it?" it was :) We also appreciated how it grabbed all our history. We thought we were going to have to download from the old software, migrate everything over, and that Sharp Archive would just start archiving but not capture old posts. Nope. The whole history loaded up right away.
Cons: I wish it did email archiving. We have a different system for email, but it would be great to have it all in one place. Maybe something to add.
Overall: I work at a small community bank and we use an outside compliance consultant. She told us that she’s been having her clients switch to Sharp Archive because what we were using probably wasn’t compliant anymore. She explained that our old software was just backing up what we would post (the words), but it wasn’t capturing pictures or if we commented on anything or if our customers posted on our comments. Honestly we didn’t know it wasn’t doing it. We weren’t using the old software on a daily basis. Probably just once per month if that. But switching was a huge difference. Simply put, Sharp Archive feels like jumping forward in time 15 years. Our old software was just that “old” (it felt like how the early internet felt and took forever to load up). Maybe it doesn’t matter, but Sharp Archive feels very slick and modern and loads up right away. Our compliance consultant said that she thought the old company was stuck in their ways. For two years she asked them to update their software and they kept saying they would within six months and it never happened. Anyway, we love it as much as someone should love compliance software … haha.
