"A lot of issues" Edited 2025-10-07
Pros: If it would stay connected it could be a decent program. The options offered for saving are good. Visually it looks good
Cons: Issues of it finding my iPhone. Have to shut off phone then restart it. Then in the start of saving messages it says it can not find my phone.
Overall: Not worth the $70.00 for something that will not stay running, and tech support is hard to find. You will end up leaving a message.

"iPhone to Windows PC: It works" Posted 2025-09-01
Pros: Ease of use. Intelligible UI. Accomplished the task with the free version. Accomplished a single task other programs failed to do. Reasonable price, especially if used regularly.
Cons: There was no problem with this software in my experience.
Overall: Touchcopy

As the software reviewer for the PBS program Computer Chronicles and an editor of Windows Magazine and Winmag.com, I have seen scores of software user interfaces. On a scale of sublime to ridiculous, most were ridiculous. Not TouchCopy. There was a file on my iPhone that had ceased to exist anywhere else. Not music; I leave the ethics of music transfer to others. It was an MP3 file from college which I wanted to post on the Internet. I tried several supposed “transfer from your iPhone to your PC” applications that were unusable. I didn’t even have to RTFM for TouchCopy. I attached my iPhone to my Windows PC, opened the program, and a few minutes later I had recovered my file. Unprecedented ease of use in this sub-area of file handing. Heartily doesn’t suffice for how much I recommend it. And I did it with the free version. My policy is: if it works, buy it, as a thank-you to the developers. I suggest you do that, even if you only need it once.Reply from TouchCopy -

"User friendly, and affordable" Posted 2025-08-18
Pros: This software is user friendly, and really inexpensive. I completed a large download in a matter of minutes and if was effortless. I highly recommend.
Cons: The software did exactly what I needed it to do. It all worked fine
Overall: Great experience, downloaded the software, activated, and downloaded all of the music from my IPOD Nano (64 GB) to my Windows PC in a matter of minutes.

"I use TouchCopy regularly for a backup of my devices, great app" Posted 2024-07-05
Pros: I've been using TouchCopy for a long time, starting with an iPod classic and progressing through various iPhones, from the iPhone 4 to the my current iPhone 13 Pro. I rely heavily on my devices for work and personal life.
I use TouchCopy quite regularly for a backup of my devices, I find it more reliable than iCloud backups. Also, I’m happier having a backup on my computer rather than in the cloud.Cons: I have had a few issues with my activation code locking out, guess it must be a security feature. I have found the Wide Angle Software customer service team helpful in resolving this.
Overall: For me TouchCopy has always been simple to use and it works well. When I needed help, the support staff has got me going quickly. I’m grateful for their help over the years and I can highly recommend TouchCopy and the company.

"Just doesn't work!" Posted 2024-06-18
Pros: Nothing! it did not work. How can I give any pros if it didn't work. I didn't even get to try it because it crashed i-tunes which was required to find my phone.
Cons: Every time it tried to find iTunes which was open and running, i-tunes crashed. Restarted computer, iPhone, reinstalled the program. Nothing. Epic fail. I was hoping for a fix for this. Disappointing.
Overall: I think the above explains it all. I have wasted over an hour on this for nothing. This is a 0 out of 10 experience. I'm not sure why you want me to type more.
