"No surprises" Posted 2025-05-16
Pros: Twelve Data has very fast API and easy to use. I like the documentation - is clean and with good examples. Also support team answer quick and professional when I had questions. Many indicators and good historical data, good for my trading strategy.
Cons: Not all exchange update real-time, but I don't need them too much. Also, free plan have limit, but for testing is good.
Overall: I am using Twelve Data pro 610 plan around 8 months and it is working very good for my purposes. It's great API for getting historical data and indicators. Not perfect, but close. Support is fast. For me is best mix of price and features.

"Solid product and support - satisfied with Twelve Data" Edited 2025-05-14
Pros: Twelve Data has been great for accessing real-time and historical data across stocks, forex, crypto and commodities. The API is clean and easy to use, even for quick testing.
I started off with their their free plan which is generous before upgrading to a paid plan. The docs are solid with good API examples and the support team are fast and knowledgeable. It’s reliable, fast, and fits well into any project I’ve built so far.Cons: The free plan has request limits, but honestly, it's more than enough for testing and small projects. And as a solo dev, the paid plans are pretty fair.
Overall: Highly satisfied thanks! Twelve Data has been reliable, fast, and easy to integrate. The API is clean, supports a wide range of markets, and the free tier is great for getting started. Support is helpful, and everything just works. Honestly, it’s been a great fit for my projects.

"Reliable Data for Algo-Trading with Some Limits" Posted 2025-05-13
Pros: Twelve Data delivers high-quality, real-time market data for stocks, forex, and crypto, which has been a game-changer for our algo-trading platform. The APIs are well-documented and easy to integrate, saving us weeks of development time. Their live-chat support is responsive, often resolving issues in minutes. The pricing is competitive, especially for startups, with a free tier for testing.
Cons: The 8 API calls per minute limit on lower-tier plans can be restrictive for high-frequency trading. Also, their community is small, with limited forums for user collaboration.
Overall: As a quant developer at a fintech firm, I've used Twelve Data for over a year to power our trading algorithms and visualizations. The data is reliable, and the WebSocket feeds are stable for real-time updates. While the API rate limits can be a bottleneck, upgrading plans helps. The support team is excellent, and the knowledge center is packed with guides. It's a solid choice for developers needing financial data.
