Pros: Used to have pros. No ads, nothing mainstream, it was YOUtube not Corporatetube; like it actually is now.

Cons: Freedom of thought is not permitted. Everything is manipulated by the algorithm and various forms of censorship. Likes and dislikes aren't even recorded accurately. That type of code is as basic as it gets, to make the counter miscount, one would have to add more code, making this move clearly intentional.

Overall: It's not even worth it. You have to pay to avoid ads (never used to be a thing, YouTube didn't even have ads). As a creator if you are making a crime documentaries you need to censor words for the "protection of others" e.g. the word "abuse", and so forth. It's and over-the-top, padded-wall, safe-space for people who cannot handle words.

Pros: Its free to use.
Good source to earn revenue if you have a channel.
International exposure.
Integrates easily.
Broadcast live anywhere you are.
Can download and watch offline later.
Share a good amount of information to a lot of people in a short time.
Visual and audio quality is fair.

Cons: There are too many adverts on the free platform so one is forced to use premium for better undisturbed viewing.
It's difficult to start earning.
The video and audio quality can be improved.

Overall: I use YouTube daily because I am a freelancer and I relay on advertising my small business as well as products to make a sale. The algorithm of YouTube made me to grow and be more productive in a short space of time. I love the live chat because it has allowed me to communicate easily with my customers.

Pros: YouTube has an extensive monopoly over the world. It is very welcoming... at first, then, if you have an opinion you will lose your channel very, very fast.

Cons: I didn't like the way YouTube is now the law in all things, even though they won't specify any problems they may say they are finding, other than generic. So, it becomes impossible to 'fix' content before they have completely banned the channel.

Overall: In English it would be classed as a swear word to describe YouTube. Finding another video platform is a nightmare, as they have all become corporate whores, and the censorship, even when marked adult, is mind bogglingly lunatic, at best.

- There is video available on any topic you want to see.
- Its algorithm works great and suggests some great videos according to your taste.

Cons: - It really pushes the YouTube premium to the point that it becomes annoying.

Overall: YouTube is, overall, a great platform to watch and share videos. Along with the creator's videos, YouTube also makes it originals and share it on YouTube.

Pros: - It is by far the best platform to share and watch videos for free.
- The UI is very smooth and user-friendly, anyone can use it without any technical knowledge.
- It is available on all platforms.

Cons: - The android version of the application is buggy, while downloading and watching videos simultaneously, the application lags a lot.
- There are too many unskippable ads now on the platform.

Overall: Overall, Youtube is the best platform to watch and share content and even monetize it to create a living out of it.

Pros: Firstly it is really very easy to use, having a very clean interface so that anyone can handle it easily.
It's really useful for students, in this application you will get lots of videos for any type of query related to your course/topic.
This application also is a great source of entertainment it has movies, songs, and documentary short films.
The best thing about this application is anyone can upload their own content on this app, and it can be watched world wide.
This application is very secure for its users if anyone tries to copy your content there is a provision for content claiming which keeps your content secure.

Cons: The biggest draw back about this application is ,advertisements before every video for certain time period which you can't skip, and that is so irritating.
Because it is a very wide platform there are hundreds of solution for a simple query which is quite confusing sometimes.

Overall: This is one of the best application which I am using from a long time, it is a versatile application whether you are having a doubt related to your, or want to relax your mind you can use this application.

Pros: YouTube is the best app for watching videos, comics, stories, for anything whatever you want to hear, listen anything. It has a good picture quality and everyone's favourite app.

Cons: The advertisement they show after very video is very long and it's become monotonous to watch the show. They should reduce the time of advertisement or just simply remove it.

Overall: Overall I will give a 5 star rating to youtube because I like the graphics, the quality, everything is just picture perfect.

Advertisements can become a headache if one wants a continuous experience, there are a lot of adblocking sites available on the internet today, but if one wants to watch content on mobile you cannot use the adblockers.

On an overall level is it a definite recommendation for everyone.

Pros: It is easy to upload videos onto the platform.
Registration is simple, especially with an existing google account.
There's an infinite number of videos on the site, meaning there are videos suited to everyone for pretty much every topic.
It has a nice and simple interface to browse for videos on.
Videos can go up from 144p to 8K (4320p).

Cons: There is lack of any support on YouTube for small channels.
It is not possible to switch the file of an already existing upload with another file.
There is no support for multiple audio tracks.

Overall: YouTube is a great site that has video content that caters to everyone's interests. It is quite a useful tool for education and good for entertainment.

Pros: Youtube is a part of Google AdWords, so it is very easy to use and is already an integral part of your advertising if you use google.

Cons: In order to have good quality videos on youtube it requires good production value therefore a substantial production budget you may want to go through other channels.

Overall: YouTube is a great platform to reach a large audience, however I would advise using something else if you have a lower budget for production.

Pros: Been using this a lot for hosting videos. Love how quick it works and has the ability to embed on sites.

Cons: Not much I dislike about it. Pretty easy to use right away.
