If I send a blank message to a list -request address it sends back an empty reply. Sending a 'help' message sends back the help summary. I think an empty message should also send back help information.
It's a reasonable request, but not important enough to change now. I see it as a feature request, not a bug report, so I'm postponing it until after 2.0.
