I’ve been using InfraRecorder for some time now, and overall it stands out as a solid, free CD/DVD burning tool for Windows. For anyone needing a basic, no-frills program that gets the job done without gimmicks, it’s a very decent choice. What I like The interface is straightforward and easy to navigate — whether you’re burning data discs, audio CDs, or working with ISO/BIN-CUE images, the steps are clear and intuitive. It supports a good range of burning tasks: data discs, audio discs, mixed projects, creating or ripping images. It’s lightweight and open-source, which is a big plus compared to some bloated commercial apps. It’s reliable for many standard workflows: when it works, it simply works well. A few caveats Development has slowed and it hasn’t been updated in a long time, so newer hardware, formats, or Windows versions may not be fully supported. Some users have experienced issues with verification or multi-session discs, where a burn appears complete but the data isn’t written correctly. It lacks some advanced features found in paid or modern burners, such as Blu-ray support and detailed metadata management. Final verdict If you’re after a free, lightweight, and straightforward tool for burning CDs and DVDs — especially for older discs or systems — InfraRecorder is a very good choice. Just be aware of its limitations with newer technology. I’d rate it 5 out of 5 stars for its simplicity, performance, and reliability.

Microsoft is on Windows 10 and they still don't have native CD support... Anyway, this is a great tool for creating audio CDs. Worked like a charm!
