Get things done with minimum interruption using the Pomodoro approach:
1. Start an activity - assign a 25 min time block to complete it
DO NOT perform any other activity during this time block
Switch your phone and e-mail off (only for 25min! Not a big deal)
2. If you stumble upon a different task during the time block, add it to the backlog.
3. Take a 5 min break after each 25 min time block
During the break, check your phone and e-mail for urgent messages
Quick items in the backlog can be performed during the break
Longer items can be assigned their own 25 min time block
4. Go to 1
