Downloaded source tarball, made cleanly on 32-bit LinuxMint and worked a like a charm for the 40+ images I wanted to get from a *.pps file. Thanks.

Since the distributed binary didn't run in my platform, I've downloaded the tarball, compiled the only C source file under cygwin and voilà! Fast and simple. Excellent work. I am looking forward to improve it adding some command line options, such the opt-out for thumbnails creation.
