What do you like best about MaintainX?

One of the things I like best about MX is how easy and efficient it makes managing work orders and maintenance tasks. The mobile-friendly interface allows me and my team to create, track, and complete work orders in real time, no matter where we are. This has significantly improved communication and response times, ensuring that nothing slips through the cracks.

I also appreciate the preventive maintenance scheduling, which helps us stay ahead of potential issues before they become costly repairs. The ability to attach photos, notes, and checklists to work orders makes it easier to document work and maintain clear records.

Overall, MX has streamlined our maintenance operations, making it more organized, efficient, and proactive, which is essential for managing a property effectively.

What do you dislike about MaintainX?

Honestly, I can’t say anything bad about MX. It’s a powerful, user-friendly tool that has made a huge difference in how we manage maintenance operations. If anything, I just wish it were a little more affordable. That being said, the value it provides in efficiency, organization, and team communication makes it well worth the investment. What do you like best about MaintainX?

The asset maintenance tracking, reports, and alerts. The cost analysis of parts/repairs for each vehicle and ability to link vendors to order directly from MaintainX, saves time looking up part numbers and making calls or going to vendor websites to place orders. The ability to create work orders for non-schedule repairs or service directly at vehicle assignment from the customizable inspection report which eliminates the break-down in communication and tracks when services were requested and by whom. The ability to track who had a given asset at any given time based on the vehicle inspection reports done at check out and return. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MaintainX?

The layout is a little convoluted; there's a lot of features packed in and I understand its hard to streamline everything given the versatility of this program, but I feel that the organization could be a little better, perhaps with a better streamlined tab system that leads to different features within drop down menus in those tabs rather than the current overload of options to try and find a particular feature. It would just simplify the dashboard and clean it up a bit to make it easier to navigate to what you need. I also would like to see an override feature for the account admin login to close inspection reports that have required fields that weren't completed and stay stuck in the que. My vehicle inspection reports have 2 parts to them, a checkout section and a check in section with required fields like pictures of the vehicles at checkout and check back in before the report can be closed. Presently, when I review these reports, sometimes weeks between, my que is overloaded with old reports that are still open due to 1 or more required fields, usually the pictures, not being completed when the vehicle was returned. At this point, weeks later, its pointless to get pictures of the vehicle but I cant close out the inspection to clear up the que without opening those reports, putting some picture in the field just to "complete" the req field and then closing it out, all of which takes a lot of time, especially if we were busy during that period and there's a lot of inspections that didn't get completed. While I agree this defeats the whole purpose of the inspection and required fields in the first place, sometimes I just don't have any choice, I mean to be blunt, I'm dealing with oilfield guys whom don't see the purpose of this process and don't care so I'm never going to get 100% compliance with the process short of suspending or firing the offenders which would cause an operational nightmare worse than simply not getting the data for some vehicle checkouts/ins. Consider at any given day I've got anywhere from 30-48 vehicles and 20-24 trailers coming and going- that que can get real crazy real quick, especially when there's duplicates or triplicates of assets due to not closing out the previous inspections. What do you like best about MaintainX?

The interface is extremely easy to use and the heirarchy of the software is logically linked. The meter triggers are exceptionally valuable, and in the course of just a few weeks I've been able to identify holes in procedural efficiency and close them. What do you dislike about MaintainX?

I've found little to complain about with MaintainX. My only criticisms relate to fluff features found in other software that MaintainX chose wisely not to focus on in their product development, however, I would love it if they incorporated asset pin mapping capabilities for facility maps for inspection items like fire extinguisher locations. What do you like best about MaintainX?

The system is very user friendly on both mobile and desktop. Having never worked with MaintainX before (but other industry CMMS) we were quick to get up to speed with the help of our implementation experts at MaintainX. In total the integration time was shorter than we expected.

The support from MaintainX was pretty good over all and they really helped us along Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MaintainX?

The asset hirerachy tree could be a bit better, but as we understand it a couple of good changes are coming soon which should fix that Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MaintainX?

One of the most helpful things about MaintainX is its intuitive user interface. Our company, like many peer companies, struggles to find skilled maintenance help. The younger generation isn't full of highly skilled maintenance techs. As such, we have an aging maintenance workforce. I thought moving to a CMMS was going to be difficult, however, because of how easy it is to use, the whole team uses it without any issues.

Implementation went very well. Their team is extremely supportive and responsive. Integrating our current practices and procedures into MaintainX has proven to be easier than expected. And the software has all the features you could want, and I have yet to discover all of them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MaintainX?

I have yet to find anything to be critical of with MaintainX. However, we are coming from a very primitive maintenance management process. This is our first CMMS, so I'm not sure how it stacks up against some of the competition. We tried a couple other free trials out and found MaintainX to be the best. One thing that I wish could be improved would be displaying assets in hierarchical fashion. That is a very small improvement that I think could help out the intuitiveness of the system. What do you like best about MaintainX?

One of the best perks of MaintainX is the connection between all members across the plant, and the ability for managers, supervisors and maintenance alike to have one place that anyone who sees a problem can log that information, and then have a digital trail of how it got fixed, what tools were needed, parts necessary, and being able to take that and create future response plans. I use it daily as a Maintenance Mechanic and wouldn’t use another CMMS system again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MaintainX?

I haven’t personally had anything that stuck out to me, anything I’ve thought I had an issue with, resolved itself with further learning of the software. The one time I had an issue with a user level being set, contacting support was a simple, and quick process, and had my issue resolved within the hour with exactly who to contact in my chain, it was great. What do you like best about MaintainX?

It's very useful for receiving and managing work orders. It's really helped our non-maintenance staff communicate maintenance issues to our facilities dept. much more efficiently. It's great for keeping track of things still outstanding and for more easily providing work orders to our staff that might be off property. But one of my favorite features has got to be the meter system. It's been a total game changer for keeping track of all our water meters on property. It's just a great system that's pretty user friendly for the most part and comes with some great features. I'd also like to say their response time has been pretty great when I've had questions or needed technical support. What do you dislike about MaintainX?

I have both an android and apple phone and I feel it performs way better on android (no big surprise there). The new features rolled out since we've been members seem to either be very industry specific or locked behind the enterprise or higher tier levels of the system, so we don't get their benefit unfortunately. It seems like one of the last updates made the bottom section of the work order creation a little wonky for the category drop-down menu but it's still functional. What do you like best about MaintainX?

MaintainX has truly moved our company into the future when it comes to managing equipment and maintenance records. Before adopting this platform, we relied on outdated paper tracking, and more often than not, we had no accessible history of repairs or maintenance.
