"The best RMM platform on the market!"
What do you like best about N-able N-central?

The user interface is very easy to use, featuring colourful indicators—green for good and red for bad—that let you quickly see how your devices and network are performing. Their customer support system is also excellent; if you encounter any issues, you can log a Support Case, and the process is straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-able N-central?

The N-Central UI has a lot happening within it, so it can take some time to become familiar with all the available options and to learn how to navigate the platform effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"N-Central's Outstanding Performance"
What do you like best about N-able N-central?

The Vulnerabilities view is amazing as it helps us as an MSP show risks to our customers as well as uncover new opportunities. It allows us to show the customer their issues in their environment and how to better secure it. This also allows us to show our value to our customers as we can provide much more insight into their environment and how we can be more proactive. We have also have moved to MSP SSO , this has reduced the number of password reset as well made it a much better user experience. The assets view has better data that is concentrated as it has the MAC address field etc, customers enjoy this report much more also the data is much better since it using SnowFlake. We have integrated N-Central REWST and I must say the integration between each other works perfect no issues and we are accomplishing so much through automation it frees up so much for our engineers. Product support is big deal for an MSP and for my experience with N-able support is the best no other product support can touch them as they are super knowledgeable and the responses are quick and on point. They are happy to jump on a call to further investigate if needed. We had upgraded our N-Central and we had a dedicated support engineer from N-able until the end of the upgrade. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-able N-central?

Your user account needs to be MSP SSO to get the vulnerabilities and asset views which we would like to provide to customers however we want to create the customer and N-able account as they will see our organization case with support etc. We are awaiting for custom properties data to be moved to snowflake as I believe then we can use Snowflake as a single source of data which would reduce some work load on our. I would like a more in-depth Netpath as to possibly see if it is an issue on the ISP side or and environmental issue . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Great Easy to Use Monitoring Platform with Knowledgable Support"
What do you like best about N-able N-central?

More integrated features, the inclusion of S1 and Adlumin now provides a more comprehensive solution. Better performance on the newer versions in my opinion. Entra SSO integration was clutch, users love it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-able N-central?

Wish I could run the baked in reports on a scheduled time of my choosing versus being forced to run it Daily at 3 AM if I want to schedule it. Patching reliably on endpoints (not servers) continues to be a pain point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best RMM I've worked with"
What do you like best about N-able N-central?

I use N-Central constantly, it not only monitors our clients, but recent enhancements allows for direct chats with the users too without having to log on to the device

N-Central is easy to deploy and user friendly

The Automation Manager allows complex workflows to be built that anyone can run

The team is consistently working to improve the platform as well

N-Central easily intergates with our PSA and has API features that allows for impementations into your own platforms Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-able N-central?

There are a few features that can be built upon such as better tracking of offline devices or devices where the agent has not been fuly deployed

The ability to auto remove devices that have been offline for more than x days is also something that may be beneficial

The initial setup can be a bit complex, but the team is readily available to assist with any queries and connect to your instance to work through the issues with you Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"N-able is one of the best RMM's I have used to date"
What do you like best about N-able N-central?

I like that everyday I am still learning something new, and that is a good thing.

It is an easy platform to learn for the basics, it does get a lot more complicated due to all the featured that is available, but overall, implementation is easy, especially to get a device on N-Central.

This is a tool that I use on a daily bases, and I feel that it integrates really well with existing tools Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-able N-central?

Had some issues with the patch management side of things, but after logging my grievances with support, it got sorted out and even an updated version of the tool was released Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Mind blown by the capabilities of the product"
What do you like best about N-able N-central?

The amount of services and features that allow new to troubleshoot and resolve issues on a remote device, sometimes at just a click of a button Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-able N-central?

In all honesty the first line of support for the product at most times are really unhelpful with the standard answers. Wish there was an easier way to escalate. No offense to the support engineers. They're awesome. The "script" however..needs some work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Love N-Central but Reporting, Monitoring and Patching could use some work"
What do you like best about N-able N-central?

It can do so much and automate so many things. Pretty easy to use once you get familiar with it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-able N-central?

You can't force through a patch which has been a real pain since Windows seems to not be asking for upgrades and therefore we can't upgrade PCs. Reporting tends to not get specific enough. I wish it were more of a one screen thing to set up monitoring instead on one to make the monitor, one for rules to apply the monitor and one for notifications. it takes a loit of jumping around to make one simple thing. "One stop end user shop"
What do you like best about N-able N-central?

The categorization of the different types of machines on the left side, along with being able so schedule reboots/maintenance commands that will run autonomously outside of working business hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-able N-central?

Sometimes the screens of the machines I am in will flicker and become unable to work in, so I need to close out of the session and reconnect but it's a minor issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"If you're not using N-Central you're doing IT wrong."
What do you like best about N-able N-central?

The price tag for N-central is super cheap... so cheap that when I first signed up, I was sure they were quoting me monthly pricing. But not cheap like Prado knockoffs - this is a quality suite of tools for managing, monitoring, and maintaining all computing devices with minimal work on the tech side. It's a simple install and you're done. Logging into the portal for management gives you a wealth of information, and using the included TakeControl functionality makes end user troubleshooting easier than a phone call. It works across Mac and Windows, and has agents (that I haven't tested) for Ubuntu and CentOS. It's so cost-effective and easy to use/deploy that I'm never going to NOT use it in every company I work in from now on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-able N-central?

N-Central's only weakness (which isn't their fault by any means) is that you need the device to have a consistent internet connection in order for things to work. This means that, if the user switches on or off of a VPN, Take Control can lag for a minute or two. Again, not N-Central's fault, but something to consider. On the flip side, though, commands can be scheduled, so you can mitigate some of the above with proper foresight.

There have been small timeframes where I had to reinstall an agent or where a script didn't run as I wanted it to, but that's super-rare compared to how often it works better than I expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hosted N-Central: Best RMM We've Used"
What do you like best about N-able N-central?

We used a range of RMM tools and N-Central is by far the best so far. Responsiveness of the UI is almost instant. The time to execute scripts is within seconds, not minutes. It is one of the more advanced pieces of software I've used and has really nailed it with its capabilities and customisations. N-Central is a rule based platform so a little more complicated but the end result is definitely worth it. Any issues have been resolved via live chat, the agents are always super helpful and friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-able N-central?

The platform does have a steep learning curve. There are a lot of parts which need to work together and be setup to take advantage of the full power. There is limited support for Linux systems but that seems to be in development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
