"Comprehensive RMM Tool with Easy Navigation and Powerful Automation"
What do you like best about NinjaOne?

The software is user-friendly and covers the essential features expected from an RMM, such as inventory management, patch management, software deployment, and a library of commonly used, pre-packaged applications ready for deployment. It also provides remote access to endpoints, making end-user support straightforward. Navigation is simple, and you can search for devices by the logged-in user's name or computer name. Additionally, the software can query other network devices like switches and routers, retrieving traffic usage data and some health metrics. Integration with VMware for monitoring is also supported. The platform allows you to automate actions based on triggered events, such as restarting services, computers, or servers, or running scripts when specific events occur.

Support and onboarding are exceptional, offering unlimited expert sessions that can be scheduled in 20, 30, or 45-minute increments. This allows you to explore topics in depth with a support specialist who can assist with product configuration.

Deployment of the agent is quick and simple and by default it installs silently dont have to configure anything.

Another advantage is the ability to provide remote access to internal systems for both end users and administrators. You can assign specific systems for users to access remotely, which, for our Macs, is a significant improvement over relying on the Chrome remote access tool.

Patching is very easy to use and also incorporates AI to see if the released patches have issues based on internet forums like Reddit. Then you can hold these patches for a later date based off maturity . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NinjaOne?

I think the biggest issue with the product is some of the details are missing in the inventory for instance serial numbers of monitors are not available and you have to use scripting to return that data. They just need to bring back more details on inventory items that I am used to with another product called PDQ. Does not have system imaging either. Would be nice if it integrated in to Service Desk from Manage Engine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Management and Automation for Large-Scale IT"
What do you like best about NinjaOne?

The ease of use. Anything from remote desktop to pulling up a powershell on a computer. Being able to script a powershell script within the site and having Ninja automate it has been essential to managing over 100 machines. I like that they constantly are adding useful features to their platform. Background mode with remote desktop is a great too to be able to pivot within a network without needing the end-user to step away from their machine. Also onboarding a machine is super simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NinjaOne?

I wish I could see more Windows event logs within Ninja.

I also wish I could create a powershell script that will come up with a result that I could include within the device columns within the devices page.

In addition to the compound conditions, I wish I would be able to generate a report based off of the findings of the condition. Creating tickets sometimes gives a bit too much information when multiple machines are involved. A simple PDF would be nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"NinjaOne Streamlines IT Tasks and Boosts Workflow Efficiency"
What do you like best about NinjaOne?

I’ve really enjoyed being able to use PowerShell for employees from my desktop — it saves me a lot of time not having to go around to every computer to make changes. I write scripts and then run them on each computer from my office. I’m somewhat new to using NinjaOne, so I’m sure it has a lot more features that will help improve my workflow as I become more familiar with it.

The remote desktop feature is also nice to use and has helped with remote workers, letting me see what they’re doing. Lately, I’ve been using NinjaOne a lot for my workflow. My company is working toward higher network security, and it’s made it a lot easier to perform tasks and testing.

Customer service has been great — we had a payment issue, and I sent an email to their billing support. They had it fixed the next day since I sent it at the end of the workday. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NinjaOne?

I currently don't dislike anything, maybe the learning of all the amazing features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great onboarding and feature rich"
What do you like best about NinjaOne?

The onboarding process with Shemika Howard was very informative and helpful to show the extent of all Ninja has to offer in terms of features. Without the onboarding, I would have had no clue what 90% of the features were and would have had to figure them out by myself and I am extremely lazy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NinjaOne?

My biggest issue with ninja is more as an issue with Macs, but the limitations compared to windows machines can be a bit frustrating at times. Since the Mac issue isn't something Ninja can help, another thing I'm not a huge fan of is the new update moving certain features around, but that's just due to comfort and familiarity that I'll get over eventually. "Great Policy Management and Features, Much Better Than Competitors"
What do you like best about NinjaOne?

The management, policy, and "pyramid" policy structure is one of my favorite parts, alongside the nice features like live console. We attempted using other RMMs like ConnectWise and were extremely unhappy with the glitchiness, missing features, and overall less capable platforms. We have deployed this across our entire fleet and have switched our entire teams remote access to it. Deploying the RMM agent is extremely easy with the installer. I have had to use customer support once or twice and each time they have been super helpful and quick to respond. This again, compares from previous experiences with other companies, that had less than stellar support to say the least. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NinjaOne?

The biggest gripe I have had with ninjaOne so far is with End Users - Even when adding an End User to a company, I have to manually assign computers to them. I do wish that was more automated. I would also love to see the use of Ninja AI in the script creation tool - Would be really nice to have some additional AI help with building scripts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"NinjaOne Remote"
What do you like best about NinjaOne?

The remote desk function works really well, I don't lose connection even when the computer I'm remoting into is restarting. I get to choose which monitor I'm looking at just clicking on it (instead of having to adjust manually the vision I want, like I used to with other monitoring platforms), and the chat is very helpful. Also Customer Support works well, I like that I can book a meeting with someone to discuss anything on a videocall, within less than 24 hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NinjaOne?

The only thing I don't like so far is the fact that the default ticket template cannot be modify as of right now. You can have other templates but the employees would have to log in to see them. The default (the one they can access by clicking on the icon in the taskbar's system tray to submit an IT ticket) cannot be edited. An agent told me they were working on it, so I'm looking forward to that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Patch Management and Centralized Helpdesk, but Device Licensing Needs Improvement"
What do you like best about NinjaOne?

I'm a huge fan of the patch management and centralized endpoint management. Within the last year, we have started to use it for our Helpdesk as well and it has really made things a lot easier for us to keep track of all the issues that come up. It is nice to have a lot of the information that we typically need located in a single interface. We are finding small things all the time that help us do things that would have otherwise taken much longer.

We also really like the idea that we can give other users access to a specific group of computers. This has come in very handy. We use this application every day, and it is the first think I log into when I come in every moning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NinjaOne?

I wish there was a better way to manage the devices and their licenses. In the past with our previous RMM we could remove a device, but tell it not to uninstall. That way if we had a suspicious device we could remove it, and if it came back we knew it was valid. I have had computers that changed names that Ninja didn't realize so we had two computers with different names, that we actually the same computer.

Customer Support isn't always the best. I have had great experiences, as well as not so great. It all depends on who you get, and if you get help or a link to something to read that may or may not help you. I wasn't contacting support to help me Google something, I was looking for help. "NinjaOne Streamlines System Management and Remote Support for Busy IT Teams"
What do you like best about NinjaOne?

As a busy Systems Administrator working in local government, I find NinjaOne's user-friendly interface greatly enhances my ability to multitask and stay productive every day. With just a quick glance, I can easily monitor the status of our systems, including critical updates, overall health, and warranty coverage. I frequently rely on Ninja's built-in sorting and filtering tools to thoroughly investigate specific areas of any system when I need more detailed information. Remotely assisting users has become much more convenient thanks to Splashtop—I can quickly connect, resolve their issues, and notify them once the work is complete. Implementation is so easy, too! Recently, we've been considering moving away entirely from another vendor due to its pricing, and we plan to use NinjaOne as our primary tool for accessing our servers from anywhere. When I need to reach out to customer support with a question or concern, I know I will get a timely response. I just can't think of another vendor who gives you so many great tools at such a great price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NinjaOne?

I can't say that I have any particular dislike for NinjaOne. I do wish that more than 2 admins could access a server at the same time, but it isn't a deal breaker for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All in one Platform - IT Magic"
What do you like best about NinjaOne?

I really like that it has a bunch of compatible features that blend together. Ninja can handle ticketing, remoting into a laptop, patches, reporting, backups and so much more! The techs find it to be an easy platform to use. Our System Administrators are able to easily deploy pre made scripts or create their own. It has helped our team keep track of the status of our devices Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NinjaOne?

The patching can be an issues sometimes. It is difficult to see missed patches. You also cannot edit any posted notes on tickets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Really really good experience with NinjaOne."
What do you like best about NinjaOne?

Its quite easy to install on a Mac. I've finished around 30 macOS laptops in a week. It automates a lot of the repetitive maintenance tasks: patching (OS + many third-party apps), software deployment, running scripts, etc. Strong remote control tooling: remote terminal, screen share, background installs, remote scripts, etc. This is essential when offices are far apart and you can’t physically send someone for smaller issues. Probably the best remote that i have ever used. Automated patching and keeping OS + apps up-to-date reduces vulnerabilities. UI is fairly intuitive, learning curve is moderate; setup / deployment can happen quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NinjaOne?

Some features are newer and may not yet be fully mature for macOS. For example, managing “third-party app patching” for all apps on Mac has gaps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
