What do you like best about Owl Practice?

I started my practice with Owl Practice and it has been a game-changer for me. As someone who isn't business-minded, Owl Practice's financial tracking features have been invaluable. It keeps everything organized and gives me peace of mind. The secure messaging and telehealth video sessions are fantastic, providing safe and private ways to connect with my clients. Additionally, having all my notes in one place with secure storage has made my practice run more smoothly. What do you like best about Owl Practice?

As a Registered Psychotherapist in private practice, my overall personal experience with Owl has been positive - it has helped streamline my administrative tasks and client scheduling, document organization and storage and video client sessions. The customer service experience has been exceptional - questions and communication have been consistent, timely and friendly/responsive. I appreciate that the Owl Team are focused on responding to customer feedback and implementing improvements. If this trend continues, I anticipate staying with them in the future. What do you dislike about Owl Practice?

What do you like best about Owl Practice?

The video quality is very good. I also love how it helps me stay organized with everything in one place. It's also very user friendly. It was super easy to set up. Customer support has been great whenever I've had a question or an issue. I love how it is integrated with Stripe so that I can charge the client's credit card right after each session. What do you like best about Owl Practice?

The UI is generally nice, and the workflow tools are helpful. This is likely a good platform for solo practitioners with a cash-only business who operate in a single time zone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Owl Practice?

The service and lack of communication from OwlPractice executives. We've been plagued with technical issues resulting in delayed claims processing, accounting errors, and a workflow for US insurance claims that makes no sense. Our patients are presented with inaccurate invoices, receipts, and EOBs. Accounting data provided by the platform is inaccurate, with payments being mysteriously misapplied and transactions erroneously reporting revenue.

Because of the dearth of technical issues, we spend dozens of additional hours a month manually resolving issues to ensure our claims are paid, our accounting is accurate, and our financial obligations under insured contracting are met.

Despite repeated attempts at working with Sr. Leadership to coordinate and resolve issues, we are left in the dark without real progress. The front-line service folks do their best, but leadership fails to deliver on commitments and makes no effort at proactive communication. The corporate culture of communication is silence. What do you like best about Owl Practice?

I love the reminders via SMS and email that my clients receive and the ability to send forms for clients to complete with a click of a button. I also really appreciate that all of my financial information is captured for the year. I also like the secure messaging feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Owl Practice?

For those clients that are using mobile phones to connect there is no dedicated app for mobile - it is designed to work through web-based applications only. Finally, the customer service during two major outages of the software has been incredibly lacking. The CEO showed poor leadership in his out of touch message to all users. I unfortunately was left with no choice with continued technical difficulties to leave the platform as contacting customer support would take upwards of 3 weeks at a time.
