"Solid, Does What It Advertises, But Pricey and With a Difficult Implementation"

What do you like best about Athos Commerce?

Overall, the software does what it advertises. Filters work very well, and the software may help customers when shopping, depending on the type of items you sell. Customizability is also excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Athos Commerce?

The price is very steep. It is impossible to afford if you are a microbusiness or startup. The implementation can also be very involved, though I will say that support at SearchSpring has always been great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Athos Commerce:

Do your homework, determine if you genuinely have a need for software like this. It's a massive expense, and you'll need to sell a LOT just to break even. It may make sense for you, and if it does, it is a decent option. Make sure a cheaper alternative or built-in cart functionality or merchandising might not make more sense for you. What problems is Athos Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have a large catalog of products, and categories could get messy, so we tried to clean it up a little with SearchSpring. It's impossible to know whether it actually helps sales - most things you ever try don't - but I guess it looks good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
