One of the things I like most about Klevu is how intelligent and customizable their site search is. It doesn't just show basic product results, it actually understands shopper intent and shows relevant suggestions, even when the search terms are a bit vague or misspelled. It feels like having a smart personal assistant guiding users through the store. I also really appreciate how easy it was to integrate with our e-commerce platform, and the analytics dashboard is quite helpful for tracking what users are searching for and where we might be missing opportunities. While Klevu offers powerful features, the pricing can feel a bit steep for smaller or mid-sized businesses, especially if you're not using the full range of their services. Also, some parts of the dashboard UI could be a little more intuitive, it takes a bit of time to get used to where everything is. What I like best about Searchspring is how straightforward it was to implement and start seeing improvements. We used the platform on both BigCommerce and Shopify, and in both cases the setup was smooth and the performance was solid. It gave us immediate control over how products appeared in search, and tools like weighting and merchandising pages helped us shape the customer experience in a way that felt aligned with our business goals. For a growing business with a large catalog, this gave us a much more polished and effective customer experience than the default search from BigCommerce and Shopify. We probably didn’t engage with the platform as fully as we could have, which may have limited our ability to get the most out of its features. Some of the challenges we ran into- like catalog size constraints and slower support response times- might have been easier to navigate with a deeper level of involvement on our side. We’ve been using Searchspring since a colleague recommended it in 2016, and we’ve been extremely happy with our choice since then. To start, the team at Searchspring is extremely responsive and very helpful. They show legitimate interest in helping you utilize their tools to better your website. Most importantly, the search app and functionality is fantastic. It not only presents a cleaner, smarter search function for our customers, but it is customizable to ensure we can keep on top of the ever changing consumer environment. Upsides include not only the technical support but the diverse product stack. We began with search, and now use them for collection page, personilisation, cross-sell, bundles, and even integrate them with Klaviyo to increase CTR of our flows and campaigns. Daily and weekly reports give a lot of insights about customer behaviour. This allows us to either create synonyms or even adjust product titles/description to improve search results. Software manages well the products on PLP and Search results are displayed effortlessly. It was easy to implement the software with Bigcommerce & Vercel. It was easy for me to assign the timings at which the Klevu feed will run and Product & Catalogs will be updated on the storefront. Customer support informed us well in advance if they were going to be under maintenance. Monitoring the Klevu app daily, helps us rank the products to display first on PLP based on the analytics measured by Klevu. Klevu analytics measures both product and category levels. Kelvu feed sometimes Runs but the products weren't updated as expected on the storefront as there were issues with the product feed run, on the Klevu dashboard no error is displayed related to the feed issue which we had to look into code for the issue, or else we had to reach to customer support.
