As a former Expedia Travel Advisor, I liked that with Amadeus Central Reservations System, finding flights as well as making reservations was fast as well as speedy. It includes live availability as well as competitive rates, thus making it easy to immediately find clients' best offer.
I also liked having its functionality to connect with hotel products as well as ancillaries, thus allowing me to take care of diverse aspects of a traveler’s journey from one location. Through its shortcuts as well as command line functionality, I could make reservations more quickly, a benefit particularly during peak time periods. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A big problem I had with Amadeus was that it was hard for new people to learn, especially if they didn't know GDS commands. Also, some things seemed old and not as easy to use as newer online tools. Sometimes, I had to do more steps to finish easy tasks and when many people were using the system it could be slow, which was annoying when I needed to help customers faster.
