What do you like best about AMS360?

AMS360 has really made a difference for our agency. It keeps everything in one place—clients, policies, billing—so we can spend less time on paperwork and more time actually helping people. One of the biggest benefits is the peace of mind it gives us knowing everything is traceable. Every note, every conversation with a client is able to be documented, which is so important in an industry where misunderstandings can be stressful. Instead of worrying about “he said, she said,” we can focus on serving our clients with confidence. We reference AMS360 for every customer, every time to ensure we minimize mistakes and errors, refer to customers by their preferred names, and save time. There are so many resources available when it comes to navigating AMS360. Vertafore University has tons of articles, tutorials, and dedicated customer support to help walk you step-by-step through setup, workflows, and troubleshooting. What do you dislike about AMS360?

What do you like best about AMS360?

AMS360 is easy to use for both new users and seasoned agents. Their university is really helpful to get people acclimated to the system. Customer Support is always helpful and easy to reach. Download implementation and updating information in the system is easy compared to other systems that I've worked with. Agency Accounting is easy to manage as well. What do you dislike about AMS360?

Recent updates have created "more clicks" to do basic functions. They are working on a new platform and have made changes to the interface that cause users to either adjust browser settings or click to open a menu. We could right click on a center name and it would automatically open a new tab to navigate to that screen. Now you have to tell it you want to open a new tab and then manually navigate to that tab. What do you like best about AMS360?

I like the simplicity of the platform for new hires. It is easy to train employees on the main foundation. Then, build from their as they learn more of the office workflows, etc. It is nice to we are able to set up defaults for suspense's/activities, it is helpful for entering a large batch of the same action. It is also a nice to be able to amend how the documents are labeled in the event of adjusting the name or if it was attached in error to note it. AMS does have nice reports that can be utilized, and some of the reports are very easy to customize. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AMS360?

Unfortunately, there are downsides in AMS when it comes to field customization. I wish there were ways to add certain fields to the main screens. There is not a way to set defaults for our agency, each user has to update their system. I am having difficulty with carriers that download, I have tried AMS support, the carrier and IVANS, everyone points the finger someone else's direction on who needs to fix it. The connection is lost often, the good news is nothing is lost, you just have to wait a few minutes for it to reconnect. The policy view is not that customizable and not easily updated, a lot of the times there is misinformation listed (active vs cancel and vice versa). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We've been using AMS360 for a while now, and it’s become an integral part of our daily operations. There’s a learning curve at first, especially for team members new to the system, but the training resources and customer support have been incredibly helpful.

What do you like best about AMS360?

I had an issue once that I had to call IT for. He stayed on the phone with me for hours until we found a solution to the problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AMS360?

There aren't enough slots to put information for 2 named insureds. There isn't an easy way to see coverages in a policy at a glance. Most of my emails in a log note don't open. The sticky note function is not hideable, when they are open they disorient the entire browser window, and if you accidentally hover over the area they go to it also covers what you are trying to do. One of the things I appreciate most is the single sign-on feature—it lets me juggle between AMS360, AgencyZoom, and other Vertafore tools without constantly logging in and out. It’s a small thing that makes a big difference when you're multitasking throughout the day.

Another standout is how AMS360 centralizes all our client and policy data, which helps eliminate duplicate records and ensures everything is up to date and in one place. It saves us time and headaches when cross-referencing or pulling reports.

Lastly, tracking policies and managing client information is simple and intuitive. Everything is easy to find, and the system is structured in a way that supports our workflow rather than complicating it.
