"Reliable HIPAA compliant platform for our app"
What do you like best about Aptible?

Aptible is very easy and setup takes very little time to configure all our servers. Deployment for our application was quite streamlined. We use Aptible for our production deployments as well as our staging environment.

Integration with the various external API services is seamless.

Once the servers are configured and running, deployment of application upgrades happen without any discernible downtime.

We could spin up additional servers and resources whenever we needed to and reduce them when we did not require them anymore.

Support has been responsive and would resolve issues quickly.

We could also do most of the tasks with the self-help tools provided, including learning from the documents available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aptible?

Sometimes it would be a bit slower in the support queues when some major incident would occur. Perhaps some extra templates to help with logging might help us. But generally, very little to dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Compliant deployments on easy-mode"
What do you like best about Aptible?

It's easy-mode. If you work in healthcare, this is such a good starting point. When getting your HIPAA compliance, oh- look -- all the documentation is done for you.

Oh and you want a database? So straightforward to set up.

Oh and HTTPS and managing certs? a thing of the past. Just point your DNS and their proxy takes care of the rest.

In short, if you're trying to bring SaaS to healthcare, I can't think of a better place to get started.

P.S. You get real human, expert support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aptible?

Doesn't support FedRAMP and custom hardware configurations; eventually your company may grow faster than the Aptible feature set. That's okay -- getting started is the hard part. Once your needs have surpassed Aptible's offerings, your engineering team will likely be well-equipped to do any needed migrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptional PaaS That Streamlines Compliance"
What do you like best about Aptible?

Aptible is an exceptional PaaS solution that not only accelerates our time to market, but also increases confidence in our HIPAA compliance without the time-consuming configuration hurdles.

If you ever find yourself stuck on an issue, Aptible's top-tier support are responsive and attentive to every request.

Aptible is the winning combination of reliability, security, and efficiency, making it the ideal choice for our business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aptible?

There are a few features I wish Aptible had such as as "Preview Environments" and "Horizontal Auto Scaling". Fortunately, these features are already on their roadmap! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A developer friendly and lightweight app deployment solution"
What do you like best about Aptible?

Aptible streamlines the once cumbersome process of deploying an application to modern infrastructure. While functional equivalence among more mature competitors (e.g., AWS), Aptible truly shines in the choice of user-facing abstraction and simplicity. For my trial of the platform, I deployed a sample rails application. During the trial, I was able to appreciate the workflow for deployment that the Aptible team is proposing and it is now a strong contender among the current giants in the industry (in my opinion!) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aptible?

I can't pinpoint any specific aspect of the platform that I did not like. However, I think what would make the Web UI better would be more on-hover tooltips to provide the user insight into the various fields/options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One-stop, intuitive deployments"
What do you like best about Aptible?

I enjoy how guided and seamless the deployments are and how informed the user is at each stage of the experience. These processes can be long and painful, but Aptible makes them seem like nothing! While it hides away abstraction, by keeping the user informed at stages, it allows the user to look up what exactly Aptible is doing in the background. A tool I definitely see myself using for personal and work-related projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aptible?

Not a downside specifically, but I was unsure about large-scale feature discovery. If we were to move from an IaaS (e.g. GCP, AWS) to here, what features would be missing, if any? Hiding away abstraction is a tradeoff for these corner cases, where it's unclear whether certain features lurk below the surface or don't exist at all, which could make specific migrations infeasible. "Great all-around"
What do you like best about Aptible?

Aptible is super easy to get familiar with and use. I got started with aptible about a year ago, and at this point I use it almost every day. Deploying updates to our apps is always super easy and fast. I mainly deploy app updates and manage/monitor databases with aptible, and they have made those things so easy. "Simple and Easy Deployments"
What do you like best about Aptible?

First and foremost, not having to think about privacy and security as it relates to HIPAA and setting up and managing the additional infrastructure and monitoring needed to maintain compliance. Deployment of apps and databases is easy. It just works and I have not had any issues over the past year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good For hassle free deployments"
What do you like best about Aptible?

My favorite part is: No need of CI/CD. As soon as I pushed, the app was built with my changes.... Compared to others, its easy to use. I have experience with Heroku, AWS and Oracle -- If you want hassle free deployments, just by pushing your code, Aptible is the one! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aptible?

Configuring the app with the MySQL Database was confusing. As the app was unable to connect to MySQL causing the deployment fail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing for developers"
What do you like best about Aptible?

I like the security aspect... Aptible offers a very streamlined deployment process that saves time... Compared to Heroku, Aptible offers a more specialized and security-focused platform, with built-in tools for ensuring compliance with industry standards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aptible?

Overall, when it comes to Aptible, I couldn't think of anything that I don't like. Aptible has consistently impressed me with its exceptional services and capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
