I like Bluebeam because it makes my workflow more efficient and flexible. I use it mainly for adding annotations to blueprints, which saves me from having to go back into Revit to make changes. The Revit add-on is especially useful for organizing print sets and automating repetitive steps, which helps cut down on time. Since I often need to markup prints for precast, structural details, and architectural wall openings for ductwork, Bluebeam makes those tasks quick and straightforward. I also find the recent tools tab extremely helpful; it speeds up repetitive markups and keeps my process consistent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like least about Bluebeam is the switch from a one-time purchase model to subscription licensing. From my perspective, I haven’t seen significant added value moving from Bluebeam 20 (lifetime license) to Bluebeam 21 (subscription). While some users may find the new tools in 21 helpful, the features introduced so far haven’t justified the ongoing cost for the way I use the software. If future updates included more impactful tools or improvements, the subscription model would feel easier to justify. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
