If you have many libraries/frameworks that you want to use together with Guice, then your options are usually third-party-developed bridges. Those bridges tend to suck and not support all the features within Guice itself. In this regard, I like spring-boot much more. Guice is the best di library to grasp concepts about inversion of control and dependency injection; other libraries (ie spring) relays heavily on annotations hidding much of the di concepts under cryptic annotations.
